In the UK, some of these ads would only have been shown after 9 pm at night so that little children wouldn;t see them. We call it the 'nine o'clock watershed' and adult TV can only be shown later than that.

It wasn't just the slapping. They removed that advert in time and moved away from the slapping becuase kids where copying it slapping people, but then they also had to do the same the one where someone has "ORANGES!" screamed down their ear with (or without) a megaphone. There was even some cases where kids did this so loud that it resulted in people's eardrums being damaged.

I remember the Pot Noodle adverts have always been a bit odd as well. Might be worth checking those out as too.. I vividly remember the couple of ads that featured the guy behind the desk "If this isnt snacking at at's most intense.. Louis Kick it!" Then promptly blasts "The Ace of spades - MotorHead" And the adverts where they refered to themselves as "The slag of all snacks" @JT Yeah, Fizzy or not fizzy.. Still or Sparkling. And i think it was only 4 flavours. Orange, Apple, Lemon and BlackCurrant. Incidentally, Jim, the black guy who appears i nthe big yellow hat and says "It's a lemon tango moment" He is saying it in a REALLY over done Birmingham accent (although you get many accents, within birmingham itself) this one is closer to the Dudley accent, which is in the west side of birmingham. But they all have that same sort of sound to them. On the Tango Megaphone advert. 1 it was James Corden. 2 did you notice at the bottom, what the message said in regards to the number "Bill payer will be stung for £2.99 so ask nicely"
