How is SoTP forgettable? This is literally hardest steeple in the game currently. And it uses gimmick "towering pillars" where there are actual pillars inside. While SoC got nothing. I know it's your opinion but I had to say something.

Hello it me one of the creators of citadel of triangular covering (for jtoh xl project) Ig this is just my opinion but. Gooooood playtesting the original floors was just so boring. just outright not engaging at all. Speed (the other creator of cotc) just doesnt rlly like totc either. Trying to recreate the feel of the original totc floors was painful. Thats why some parts feel so off its just so hard for me to recreate what i think is uninteresting gameplay (i know i should be optimistic but cotc does not deserve its outstanding verdict. ill just get this off my chest)

ToTC does not deserve 1st place. The gameplay is trash and f10 outside is intense and 5 minutes long. Yes… the design is cool but the gameplay is trash. 7th place for me and all above moved up 1 spot.

Edit: I have beaten SoWP recently, I was a tiny bit overdramatic, it's not worse than SoP, it's still garbage TLDR; SoWP is NOT overhated, it's garbage glazing SoWP over nostalgia points is crazy. SoWP is everything a tower/steeple is not supposed to be The gameplay is bland and boring The traps and trolls are bullshit and make falling feel like the tower's fault and not like the player's fault which is NOT what a tower is supposed to do. The design is practically non-existant. Saying KToH is overhated because it represents a KToH tower is also wild considering KToH is the house of some of the worst god damn towers ever.

Although i do understand your point, I think it's important to consider all the aspects for a tower's placement. You can't rank a tower based on experience alone. I do think experience does play a big part in a ranking but you have to consider theming which was what i was referring to

@@Jaaaaaaaaaaam edit/tdlr; the theme is not one I enjoy, and I think considering all the aspects I might say it's raised maybe by 1 point I feel like I covered that in my comment, the theme is based on KToH/Older towers, but for me that doesn't change the score. Many good older/ktoh towers exist, and have gameplay much more fun than SoWP. On another statement, ToV is overhyped, the decoration is nice but it's not the second best, and the difficulty spike in the last floors is a bit tedious, maybe 3rd-4th best imo.
