So have you ever heard of JTS microphones before? What microphone are you currently using?
@trulyukАй бұрын
Jts are part of a group of companies which also contains FBT and studio master.. Stands to reason these are hidden gems of superb quality. I have a Jts line mic and it easily competed with the Shure SM58.. Yep it's that good!

Yep, I had a dropout at a wedding withbs cheap shure wireless system. Reached out to you, sold me this system. Has worked beautifully all wedding season.

Got tired of dropouts with my phenyx and gtd systems. Bought 2 dual handheld for receptions and dual lapel for ceremony. So far 3 events no dropouts and everything's been working really well!

unfortunately they just weren't perfect enough for me. Small blips here and there ended up upgrading to the EW-DX by sennheiser.

@@elliotchocano9374 Danggg. Could you say more about what happened?
@elliotchocano9374Ай бұрын
@@djphilsantos I needed something more reliable for weddings. These would be okay for a party or small event where dropouts are acceptable and you're very close to the receiver. But for a ceremony I needed something bulletproof. EWD or SHURE SLXD/ULXD would be the cheapest units I've used without issues. everything cheaper I have tried was a compromise.

Been using JTS UF-20R for years running live events. I’m curious what the equivalent is that they make for?

Hopefully they make a newer version with shorter antennas
@TheDJsGuru Жыл бұрын
Why the length actually helps get better range ?

@@TheDJsGuru I mean have a shure system now. And i alway used shure I’m just used to the look.
@finertouch Жыл бұрын
You really want 1/2 wave antennas nowadays. Smaller ones can be a bit less reliable (based on your location)

What kind of batteries does it use? Also is there a separate power button and the mute on top ? Or is it like shure qlx with on n off only ?
@TheDJsGuru Жыл бұрын
Separate switches for on/off and a toggle for mute - likes the feel. 2 double As :-) order with code save bit.ly/jts-ru801db

Very informative video. Could you do a video on a more affordable system that you can add a 2nd mic to later. I feel that $605 is expensive and I don’t think that 2 mic wireless systems are necessary out the gate.
@TheDJsGuru Жыл бұрын
Ty. Unfortunately mics don’t work in that direction as systems. We offer a single channel version djeventgear.com/products/jts-ru8011db-ru850lth-wireless-handheld-microphone-system?_pos=2&_sid=4b6f6a44d&_ss=r

This is a great, more than entry level mic. Don't go cheaper. Buy the single if you don't need double. But...if you do weddings or formal events, you should have 2. If you are doing gigs and getting paid $600 or more, you can afford this unit. Worth the $ for sure.
