2 dmx controllers (over $1k combined) to control ape labs lights is absurd.

The mic pre gain a very low to the point that you have to have the input turned right up and speak strongly into the mic in order to get some sort of stronger signal. A small battery powered mixer like the Behringer one I have is an ideal match l. I also wish it had at least a basic r4vrtb/delay. Saying that, I really love these things as a stereo pair used in conjunction with a small mixer and I've done acoustic folk type gigs with 150 people with no issues at all. They're very lightweight and compact and the optional bags are very high quality.

I've never and I'll never use an external mixer. My speakers have mixers on them if I need to run something extra. I dont want something else in the chain and I'm trying to get in and out fast. But either way works so do what you gotta do!

For sound professionals, you should know such wireless microphones have small capsules and need to be located away from the source to avoid saturation and loss of high-medium sounds (where highest pressures occur when the source is human voices). For this type of HF transmitter with built-in capsule utilized, the better place is the sternum... about 15 to 20 cm away from the mouth. How do you want voices (THE most important factor in an interview type of video) to sound clear, rich, deep (while keeping the "crystal" perception we need to fully appreciate them) if you place them 2 cm from vocal cords but recessed from the mouth and under the chin so they capture no highs ? So strange to see that on this channel...! Then, before hitting "REC" on your camera, whatever its type, adjust the "White balance" so your skin colours shall look natural on the video. Not DJT-orange like we see there. And in case you are temped to reply "Video's not our job.", there are thousands of video tutorials on YT - similar to what you do, so it's weird you don't use them - explaining this (choose one from a seasoned pro, not from a good-looking teenager eager to expose himself to the World)... you'll get all necessary informations to adjust the "White balance", so you appear human on your videos and not like you're in a carotene-supplement cure ! Using the available light fixtures without properly setting the "White balance" , when filming indoors, is the biggest mistake one can make. When avoiding such error is so easy to do... that you should know. All this seems so unprepared... 🤔

Hey - My DJ controller does not have a mic input so I'm using this iRig Stream's mic input to try and talk over my mixes. What adapter/Microphone type is needed and is there any chance you can link ones that would work? I bought a wired Microphone and a TRRS adapter but am having no luck! Hello, nice video. I want to touch on something you might not know about right now. DJ Algorithm is having a lot of problems. Right now for DJ is like myself when you create a playlist over on SoundCloud all the songs on your playlist are mostly Grayed Out. So you create this playlist and only a few songs work for whatever reason. When you click another song to use it, it says not available .DJ pro says that they’re working on a solution to this problem but right now they don’t have any. This is been going on for over a month now I don’t know if they’re having the same problem Beat port or Beat Source, but I do know they have a problem with Sound Cloud with the music being Grayed out on your playlist.

One of the deciding factors for me that you didn't mention is that you can use condenser mics with this speaker. With phantom power that no other battery powered speaker has that I'm aware of, it will power those studio mics directly.

Does it also have like an auto mode? i recently bought a gigbar move + and i own some titan tubes. I'm one of those dj's who at the beginning of a night places the lights, ajust them a bit, and then have a auto show running or a sound mode. At least that's what i did with my old par bar unit. Ever since i bought the tubes i'm looking for a way to make the two light fixtures correspond with each other. wasn't that much of a priority but with the gigbar that changed a bit. But now i'm scared that when i'm dj'ing im to busy to control the lighs. I am willing to do the programming and all before hand but when i'm playing, i just want it to run by itself. Is that something that is possible with this?

this is crazy , i had my first two big gigs and the distortion was ridiculous. i went home checking my files to make sure they were 320kbps+ and so much more. Then when i bought my external mackie mixer hollllyyy. Lets just say i rememeber seeing somewhere a DJ needs an External Mixer , makes sense right ? Theres an audio technician on the sound controller for every big event specifically settings for each performance. Game changer!
