I will be in the area later in the month of January 2020. I know the lake is large, and in all the YT videos the anglers used snowmobiles to get to the fishing spots. Are there any decent places to fish that can be easily accessed by foot from shore?

a lot of the resorts like hunters or red door offer roads to drive out to some fairly good spots

Too bad she's dying off. The amazing fishing is definitely a thing of the past now it seems. Kind of interested to see the 2019 Fall test net publication come out this month to see if there is any hope for this fishery or if numbers across the board continue to tank.
