The catch to get my second mareanie encounter in the paid research was my first shiny wimpod then I claimed the encounter and got the shiny mareanie and after I caught that I got a shiny tentacool all back to back

The Shiny is not coming out during Go Fest. I just looked it up on Leekduck Sendai will have Nihilego, Xurkitree, Kartana, Guzzlord, and Necrozma, Madrid will have Nihilego, Pheromosa, Kartana, Guzzlord, and Necrozma New York will have Nihilego, Buzzwole, Kartana, Guzzlord, and Necrozma

Niantic must release a clear and detail statement about boosted shiny rate during incense day. Eventually it seems not boosted shiny for incense day theme Pokemon. This is to avoid players feel being scammed by Niantic.

Got a hundo Mareanie on like the 4th research, but still no beautiful shiny. Druddigon is still the only Pokemon in Pokemon GO that I ever caught as a shiny dex entry. The very first raid I did when it released was shiny and 96%. haha. Still the best one I have gotten after many encounters. Good job on the random shinies, and good luck with the shiny Mareanie!
