Great video JT! Super happy you managed to get the background Skidoo! Background shinies, and special backgrounds in general, are really cool, especially when they're from exclusive in-person events. I powered up an 89% Kartana over a 98% because it had the NYC background. They're just a cool little souvenir. Not 100% necessary or needed, but cool.

The background cards are neat, but it just feels like it makes it even more stressful to hunt mons, because now it's did you get a background card? Is it shiny with a card? How exclusive can this be? In other news, did get shiny Zacian yesterday, on the second raid of this event, so that's cool. Stats suck, but that just makes it lucky trade fodder.

Congrats on all the shinys for me personally I like the idea of the background cards it's a fun addition to events the pokemon don't have to be shiny for me to enjoy having background cards on them I just genuinely like the feature granted I don't have many since I never do in person events because they are never close by and never will be so all I have are the special background on the ultra beasts and Necrozuma from go fest global this year but my favorite 1 is my Dusk Mane Necrozuma with the special fusion background I also have a shiny Dawn Wings Necrozuma my favorite of the 2 I don't think it has a special background but I'm ok with that because it's my favorite of the 2 so getting that 1 was enough of a win for me and the current event we are in the middle of right after 14 raids I finally got shiny Zacian so that's a win for me even though it took a long time to get it has a 2 star appraisal but the IVS don't really matter to me it would be neat to get a hundo Zacian to go with my hundo Zamazenta but at the end of the day I'm just happy I got my beautiful blue Zacian and that's enough for me besides I've got plenty of 3 star appraisal regular Zacian and some special sizes as well and was able to complete another stage in my shiny Shaymin masterwork special research bringing me closer to that shiny so in the end even if I don't get anything else cool I'd say this event finally turned around for me and I'm happy with everything I've got and was able to do again congrats on the shinys

This event hasn’t been good at all with the sword or shield path. Haven’t gotten one shiny at all since this event began. It’s just been trash honestly. The wild spawns are terrible too. Nothing but sobble, skorvet, koffing, skorbunny, Paris, ect. The incense pulls nothing but what path you chose, but none have pulled any of the shinys on incense and I’ve been playing every day 🙄. Not happy about this event at all. 😂 I did three Zacian raids, none shiny. And the Zacian raids are very few in between. Also I did evolve my shiny koffing into the shiny galarian weezing which is cool, but other than that it sucks lol. Have to drive into other towns just to find a Zacian raid, and I live in a highly populated area too. Anyone else have any luck with our event?
