Guess I'll check Wikipedia for the current standings... Nice result for Makino though! Slightly off-topic, but as a fan of anime, I do not understand how SF supports the High Speed Etoile anime. An anime about SF directly would be much more interesting than that futuristic Cyber Formula copy with vtuber-style female characters. In comparison, I wish Fujishima's Toppu Uno would be turned into an anime, that manga is backed by official brands and MotoGP is featured prominently as the goal of the MC too.
She has a JAF competition licence registered under the name Juju. However, the reason why it is not under her full name remains unclear. Well... given the current situation where she is running in SF when she clearly doesn't deserve it, it is likely that the adults behind the scenes want to impress her commercially.

@@nickthaskater SF is a top category with many veteran drivers. Juju's skills are around F3~F2, and he is always slower than anyone else in SF. First, I had to gain experience with SF Lights and step up smoothly. But then they suddenly turned Juju into an idol symbol and started selling it. To put it more clearly, they were concerned about SF's declining popularity and used Juju to attract customers. It's a simple story, it's rare for a young woman to ride and it's easy to get noticed. Additionally, the closer you get to the age, the more friendly you become and the more likely you are to become interested in racing. In particular, Japan, where indifference to motorsports is becoming more serious due to low income among young people, non-ownership of cars, and increased choice of entertainment, would have needed such an "idol." She was sacrificed in a sense.
