What pleasure to hear such marvellous singing. The only comparable tenor to Flores must be the late great Alfredo Kraus who was superb in this role in the recording conducted by Muti in the 1970s along with Caballe. This role is for present day day singer extremely difficult due to the different techniques taught now compared to those taught to Rubini who apparently used a voix miste which enabled him to sing the very high acute in a reinforced falsetto including in the final ensemble an F in alt which is beyond present singers, even the wonderful JDF. I was a member of the Ambrosian Opera Chorus in those recording sessions and remember Sr Kraus attempting the high F which just eluded even his marvellous technique.

La canta bien pero no es para la voz de Juan Diego por algo no la volvió a cantar, Juan es un tenor ligero y está para un tenor lírico o lírico ligero
