His life was very hard, his mom placed him in an orphanage and he felt that emptiness. The song “Hasta que te conoci” was written for her. I think this one was dedicated to his older sister who cared for him until he was placed in the orphanage and as a little boy, he always thought she was his mom. Lots of difficult moments since he was a child but he was a precious soul, so humble and with a generous heart.

Andre I want to recommend you and Dominica here in YouTuve Master of Voice He is an excellent voice teacher that translate from Spanish to English all the Spanish songs. And the fact that he takes the time to translate the lyrics for the non-Spanish viewers and pause the video throughout for them to fallow along is awesome. Mr. Davis articúlate the message of the songs very effectively and makes it more enjoyable. Abrázame muy Fuerte is such a beautiful song that you need to understand the lyrics .

Definitely react to “Asi Fue” from that same 2013 concert. The twist is that he doesn’t sing the song but his friend and the original singer Isabel Pantoja. It’s a mixture of Spanish and Mexican. The song is of course his and he later recorded it. This rendition is incredible with all the musicians , and the different instrument solos and Isabel’s Spanish dancing. One of my favorite’s. Of course he stays on stage and she sings to him a different points in the performance.
