Denial -> 1st verse and 1st chrous (starts slow, couldnt accept theyre not together anymore, in denial of the reality of their break up, especially without closure as he was "left midair") 2. Anger -> 1st chorus to 2nd verse (Angry that she left him "midair", feeling blindsided that she never told him about her doubts in their relationship, cutting the wound on his chest deeper) 3. Bargaining -> 2nd verse to 2nd Chorus (Why didnt she just tell him about her doubts? The way he sang that 2nd chorus is almost begging her to come back and that there is still a chance to fix thing and their relationship hence "bargaining" 4. Depression -> Bridge to 3rd chorus (this ones pretty obvious, 3billion people and he only wants her. Doesnt want to live in a world without her.... this one was sang emotionally and portrays the depression that comes with heartbreak realistically and painfully) 5.
