As someone who was way too young to have experienced/appreciated F1 in its prime (from an engine sound standpoint), I am so glad these cars are still exercised at certain events that can be attended by the public. True but Stirling Moss is also in that category too. JPM did ok for himself though. Indycar and Indy 500 champion. Some critics feel he didn’t take F1 seriously enough (especially McLaren) when he refused to train, etc. kind of agree to some extent but he was an incredible driver (and still races in IMSA) and that whole period of F1 was brilliant 😊
