These chips are CRAZY overkill powerful for just covering the "avuraj cunzoomer" basics. Let's see what they can REALLY do! Tensor 4 is a "fine" chip, but there are only so many times I can highlight how performance on Tensor is roughly 3-4 generations behind Qualcomm and MediaTek. Great video as usual! My unsolicited 0,02 $ regarding the evaluation of speakers in reviews. I think one should evaluate the ability of speakers to fulfil a use case which, in my opinion are: a> listening to a phone call or voice recording, b> speaker for a house party c> speaker for a garden party d> critical listening I bet that 99% of the smartphones at any budget will only fulfil a and b. Sometimes c. No smartphone fulfils d. This flatness in performance in the perspective of use case fulfilment is the root cause of why reviewing phone speaker performance feels just not interesting.

I don't know if I have already said all this before, but I definitely mean it and will say it again: thank you for covering Vivo flagships. This phone is one of your most anticipated, and this video from you was one of my most anticipated ones! Your previews and reviews from all the way back to the Vivo X60Pro+ really let me trust in Vivo, and now here I am on my third Vivo Phone (X100 Pro) and never regretted it. It has been all they promised and more! I am actually using the X100 Pro for small scale business product photography and your coverage of the Vivo flagships (with Ben's Gadget Reviews) have helped me dig into the phone's capabilities to great results! That zoom sensor in the X200 Pro has me itching to get it. It might be a niche thing, but the X100 Pro camera has this white balance correction feature in the Pro mode that allows me to use the grey plate thing to calibrate the colours/white balance. I learned this while exploring the app for my work and it has been a god send of sorts

Seeing my beloved Photo Mate R3 in action for that bulk edit test brought a smile to my face lol Enroll in beta for it! Dev recently brought in some fresh updates and upgrades for it!! 😀 Also, back on topic, rumours heavily indicate the new X200U will bring in the same LYT-818 on both the ultra wide and main lens, except we are getting a main lens at 35mm!! I feel the new focal length to be an upgrade but some disagree. What are your thoughts?? Way I figure a 1 inch sensor at 24mm is about 1/1.4" ish if you crop it to 35mm plus you lose resolution compared to 1/1.29" of the lyt-818. Judging by the Nubia Z60U showing a 1/1.49" in low light kicking ass even vs 1 inch sensors, I think it's gonna be a sleeper hit!!
@SomeGadgetGuyАй бұрын
I love shooting at 35mm equiv. If they keep the same aperture ratio, then yeah, we should get a significant step in shallower depth of field. The crop factor though from a 1" to a 1/1.3", the math gets a bit squishy comparing all the differences. You can't just change one thing like aperture to compensate, and not have some other compromises in other areas, like the reports of flaring on the X200 pro, a SUPER wide aperture might result in more flares from off axis light. It's all a part of the balancing act. Depending on how YOU shoot, something might be an upgrade or a downgrade. That's the fun of testing different cameras 😊

9:15 4K/120fps support is great, but I still think Sony does better. But then again, Sony has been doing 16:9 4K/120fps since the 2022 Mk4 Xperia 1, so they have the advantage. As much as I'm tempted by it and the new 200MP telephoto camera, I'll stick with the X100 Pro for now. EDIT: I also found out that the X100 Ultra already has 4K/120fps capability.
@FAT8893Ай бұрын
In fact, Sony STILL do it best. Vivo only support 4K/120fps on wide and telephoto camera. Samsung only support it on Galaxy S24 Ultra's wide and ultrawide camera. Xiaomi and Apple only support it on 14 Ultra and 16 Pro/Pro Max's wide camera only. As of 2024, only Sony gives the ability to shoot 4K/120fps on all three wide, ultrawide, and telephoto camera.

Also, I really do believe the Vivo could use one good launch update for a bit of polish and bug fixes. Then I'd feel a bit better about battery life chats. As for now, if you're just talking about the communication basics and social media, they should both go 2-3 days on a charge. I think small difference in gimmicky battery tests shouldn't be used for making a purchasing decision.

SD card slots are gone because people would put in a class II SD card on their device with 5mbps read speeds and then. They'd blame the device for being slow compared to their friend's iPhone, I liked having a SD card slot but you can't trust people not to misuse the feature and blame it on the "slow Android phone" So please, go comment that on iPhone videos and leave us alone while you're at it

It TOTALLY does. the camera app reminds me a bit of LG.

Given there are rumours sony has dumped their budget for phones and some other low performing departments in dei crap vivo and oppo might be only ones close to serving the customers of those lg and sony users although headphone jack and sd card slot will be missed
@SomeGadgetGuyАй бұрын
Sorely missed. The camera tech is fun tho.

There are few problems with this phone - availability, ridiculous price for this not well known brand, not really good Funtouch OS. Galaxy S24 Ultra costs less in my country and it comes with 2years warranty.

Pricing depends on where you live. Here in Malaysia, the X200 Pro 512GB is MYR 4,699 (~$1,055). To give you a perspective on how competitive the pricing is, Xiaomi 14 Ultra 512GB is MYR 5,199 (~$1,167) whereas both Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL 256GB are MYR 6,299 (~$1,414). Yeah, I'm not kidding - the Samsung is WAY too overpriced over here.

Can you imagine how dull that video would be. "In Germany the vivo will be £999, but in Italy it will be £1050, and in Agra it will be..."

@FAT8893 Samsung s series is surely overpriced in malaysia market but Fold series in malaysia market is top 3 cheapest market in world

"I'm not saying people shouldn't like pixels" Exactly! If you like it, sure, just don't act like it's objectively perfect because dxomark said so and don't act like chinese brands are bad because MUH CHINA! I hate that. It's all just a method of coping, that's all.

My brother in Christ, since when does "Pro" mean legacy features? And I'm pretty sure I saw you comment the same bs on other videos. Why don't you buy a Sony phone and be happy?
