Amazon tried to SCAM me - Storytime

All I buy from Amazon are books, and even with those, they try to sneak in used / returned or damaged copies as if they were new... Had a copy once that arrived that had all the pages stained in brown nicotine and had a heavy cigarette smell since it was most likely returned from a heavy smoking household... Had a few copies that had torn out pages or pages with large tears in them... Had many copies that had damages on the front and / or back covers. Damages ranged from tears, creases or even cuts (most likely when they open a case with a box cutter). Had numerous copies that had severe creases on the spines because whoever read it prior were most likely folding the front cover toward the back cover as a mean to only hold the book in one hand... I mean, for the exception of the second one, which I can understand they won't flip through each books to see if there are any missing pages, all the other ones had clear visible signs they were used and returned or damaged books... So the fact those stocking the warehouse placed those back in their inventory, and in addition the person dealing with processing the order didn't cared less about the condition of the book is rather disappointing. This is also the reason why I never ordered anything else from Amazon other than books. Atleast those are easy to return without having to deal with any hassles in case the rep refuse the return like I've seen for others with electronic goods worth in the hundreds and thousands...

That's insane... thinking back, i've prob have gotten so many things i thought were new but just repackaged well enough to pass as new and now that i bought these cameras i've noticed... really sad actually. Makes me lose faith in amazon and buying from them. The biggest problem is that they have a monopoly and they're the easiest to get things from. Y Lastly, i won't get my refund on the two cameras for at least 20 more days....
