XG - PUPPET SHOW (Official Music Video) REACTION

Hi. Their new mini album, NEW DNA, is amazing!!! Puppet Show is the final track. The theme to the mini album is that they’re aliens visiting Earth. Track 1: Hesonoo (intro) Means umbilical cord. It pertains to their connection as a family unit. It’s also their chant backstage before a performance. Track 2: X-Gene (short vocal intro) This song flows immediately after Hesonoo. Want to hear XG drill rap? No official video but there’s a lyric video. You will pause many times guaranteed!!! Perhaps jump out of your chair, too!! Track 3: GRL GVNG (Girl Gang) Many initially thought “Girl Giving”. Nope. This is about the “arrival” to Earth. The official video is short. Simon (producer/manager) worked with a photographer he liked and said the video expressed what it needed to convey. There is a lyric video of the full song. Also check out the dance practices of these songs. It’s like watching an alternative music video focusing on the choreography. You can appreciate other aspects of the song. Track 4: TGIF This is about “evolution” when discovering Earth. I’ll leave up to you to discover what the letters “TGIF” actually means. Again watch the dance practice, too. Track 5: New Dance This is about “exploring”. It’s a cool vibe!!!! Track 6: Puppet Show This is about “celebration”. Many got the wrong idea about the lyrics. To me it’s a powerful message of self-reliance. Thanks for supporting XG. They are the future!! P.S. There’s so much you missed, but take your time catching up. Savor every moment. I love it when you introduce XG to your friends. That’s a vibe in itself!!

@@KKP_yt 5:11 XG is not bad of a group but if all they do is copying another group, then I don't think they deserve their "popularity". This DNA and puppet concept and even some of the lyrics from the song itself is copied from another band. Even some of their song titles are the same. 🤦 Even XG's most renowned Cypher Series is like direct copy from the other band but XG just changed the name quite a bit so it wouldn't be noticable. 😬 Even XG's so called unique way of using mix of English, Japanese and Korean in one song ain't new or unique at all, the other band had already been doing that since years ago but it's only XG who's using that as one of their so called unique trait. Even XG's so called "diverse music" were they don't have any particular genre or district sound also isn't new at all, cause the other band is literally has been doing that since 10 years ago. Even XG's fans claims that "XG is not a Kpop group" cause they're "unique" so they want to exclude "XG" from Kpop also is nothing new. Lastly, the one behind XG clearly knows what he/she's doing. Even the troupe or marketing strategy that "XG is not from the Big 4" so that fans would feel they must support XG cause they're not from the 4 biggest Kpop label, is also another copied strategy. Even though XG is literally connected from one of the biggest label in Japan. Which is probably why they have so many sponsored ads in KZbin. Even Billboard is hyping them up by making them as their cover photo even though they're just a fairly new group. So I don't get why there's relevance in the narratives that they're from a small label, when they clearly have support from the industry. Anyways, no matter how I look at XG, they're literally just a replica of another band so I really can't take them seriously. Lastly, I don't hate nor dislike XG at all. Cause I really like the members especially Cocona, but if they're trying to be unique by copying the anomaly in the Music Industry, I don't think it's gonna work. Though I don't mind if they really become the biggest girl group in World by copying the other band, but if they're going to copy, at the very least they should copy everything. Cause compared to the other band, XG severely lacks boldness, musicality, authenticity, vulnerability, artistry and depth. And they're too reliant with their Kpop troupes. Like visuals, catchy beats, choreo and vocals. So it's not right to exclude them from Kpop. Cause they're still so Kpop despite them not Koreans. So compared to the other band, XG is still so bland and shallow.
