Hey, handsome! You are a breath of fresh air considering what I’ve been watching in the news on my IPad. I won’t expound, but I’ll be so relieved when certain people are no longer in the news. I think you know who I mean. I’m back to knitting my WIP sweater. It was on time out for a couple of days, and I’ll be visiting BOD tutorials after supper tonight. I want to make hats for my kids and their kids and the kids of those grandkids for Christmas. Now that you’re as confused as I am, I’ll settle back and enjoy my coffee, your current project and all the things! ❤❤❤

I have enjoyed you. I am glad I played you tonight because for the past 4 days I have been helping my mom get to the hospital to put in 2 stints (she is 83) and going strong) but when it was all over she had been yelling at me for trying to help her when she wasn't suppose to be doing things and I just had to leave. And I left crying because of her state (not another us state)she was in I only live little over an hour from her but she had to go to a hospital another 1 and a half hours away to get it done and she even stayed the night so it was the next day when it really got out of hand, I just packed my things and left. I didn't even say goodbye she had gotten me so angry and I have been trying to relax ever since and this really calmed me down. I think it is your calming voice that does it to me and what you say is so very normal when you are with a group of friends and not trying to put on a show. I love it. Thanks a million for what you do.

My top crochet hooks are Tulip Etimo in pink. I have 2 complete sets. They fit my tiny arthritic hands perfectly. I have the HERO my Oma taught me with over 60+ years ago. It is engraved Germany. I love Susan Bates hooks too. But I like the plain aluminum ones, and keep a set in my to go bag at all times. Plus, I have a whole jar full Susan Bates and boy aluminum hooks.

Juan u know I love these videos and iam making another infinity scarf this is my second one yayaya iam almost done I have 20 squares to go then iam done it…and I have 2 favourite hooks is my Susan bates hook and then my Pyrim hook size 7 it’s always to have a fat hook 💜💜💜💜

I like the Susan Bates hooks. I have learned to wrap the brown stretchy bandages around the area I hold the hook to make the hook be like the more expensive ones. It works great and allows me to be able to buy yarn.❤❤

I have small hands so my favorites are Tulip Rose (for Amigurumi) and Clover for everything else. They adapt beautifully to my small hands!

I started with Susan Bates then I found Furls Odyssey, was trying to get all the sizes then they canceled them, now I use knit picks hooks which are like the dots only less expensive. Basically I use what will work, I’m a pencil holder, Boye not at all. Watching the replay and sitting here crocheting with you. Hopefully you have enough storage space and you should definitely fill the truck. Wahoo! boggy blankets. I’m not picky , I’ll take them, anything is better than yarn barf which I always get, I can never find the center pull.

I’ve tried a lot of hooks and I keep coming back to Susan Bates. Probably because it’s what I learned on. The best hook is the one that you like.

You need to try the clover hooks in the larger sizes. They are longer, so they might not hurt your hand. I can use them because they actually fit comfortably in My small hands. The chef is nice and short, which is important to me. And the thumb rest is just in the right spot. In spite of the fact that they are long, I really love them, and the colors they come in are wonderful.

Hi Juan. Hope both you and Mamma Wilma are doing well. Just watching your video and your comment about Clover hooks caught my attention. I prefer longer hooks due to how I crochet. So what I tried with the Clover hooks was sliding the metal part out slightly from the ergonomic handle. I don't know if this would be an option for you maybe? I really wanted to love the print hooks, but sadly, I did not like it at all. The colors are so pretty, but I have Child size hand and the hook was just too long for me to use comfortably. I especially did not like that a chef was so long. I have found that Tulip hooks, Clover Amour hooks, and the plain old aluminum hooks work best for me. I do have four.Furls Odyssey hooks, and I do like them. But, they do feel a little odd in my small hands. I gave my print hook to my granny, who has really gotten into Crochet. She is still in middle school, and crochet every chance she gets. I am in the process of teaching my 22 year-old grandson to crochet. We have to pass it on, you know. That’s so important. People use to crochet, knit and quilt because they had to do it because we want to, and it brings us joy. I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, and that is a blessing.

I'm crocheting with you and listening. You didn't mention your dots hooks. What about tulip brand? I change hook brand with different yarns so I don't know how to pick a favorite. I love my expensive fancy hooks but so far only look at them. I know I should use them but I am afraid especially the resin ones. My DD was pumpkin spice signature latte! I indulged. Have you seen the Big Twist new line of hooks and all the things. I saw them on a video. It's not worth the time to go to my Joann's. It's so small. I end up sending for what I need. If you try a big twist hook can you let us know what you think? I'm curious!
