For real. Back in high school I had this one friend who would make a joke and immediately after look to everyone in the room and say “isn’t that hilarious/isn’t it funny?” EVERY SINGLE TIME. Indeed it did. Five minutes on stage at an open mic will impress that, too. The way the one guy on the end treated it like it was a competition of comics is despicable. He seemed to be the type to hear "I'm not here to make friends," on reality shows over the years and nothing in his brain clicked that this might make him an awful person to be around.

I did standup comedy a long time ago and there was never a question of when you take your light. It’s not an order that you get to place. The people running the show just give it to you, usually 1 minute before your time is up. Unless you’re the headliner. Then it depends. Either you’ve got a certain amount of material and they’ve agreed to let you do it, or they assume can tell when the energy in the room is starting to wane and can spot where to wrap it up. “The light” is literally a light that they hold up in the back of the room. It has to be bright enough that the comedians can see it from the stage, past all of the other lights shining on them, but not so bright that it distracts the audience. It’s just a signal. The first one let’s the performer know that their time is almost up. Then if they reach their time limit, there’s a second one.

This makes me both embarrassed and happy I only do comedy as more of a hobby. I do it to bring joy to people These people are just hipsters that believe in anticomedy

Makes you think doesn't it? How would one go about deciphering between a regular person and a comedian? I'm not really sure but I have a million dollars on the fact that Eric will probably tell us.

I so wanted this to end with the non comedian making it to the end so they all have to admit that they should probably look at a career change

Everyone tells me not to do the baguette thing but still I go to every open mic night in driving distance to crank out 4-6 minutes of buttery smooth jazz

"Imma look for that baguette," sounded a little.. heated? Like something you'd hear at the end of a cheesy old p0rno supposed to be set in Italy but shot by college kids in LA

For some reason I really like Tyler and Isabella. Like, they both aren’t really that funny but they have interesting personalities that I think I would like a lot at a party! I’d get along with them a lot.

@@FEARitself100 Yep. Even Schaub's daddy Rogan is no longer protecting and promoting him these days; the hate that Brendan's complete lack of self-awareness, general douchebaggery, compulsive lying, and condescending superiority towards everyone else has brought down upon himself is too widespread for the people who gave him his undeserved comedy platform to even affiliate with him like they used to. Brendan deserves it, as well as the rest of the consequences of this steep downward spiral he sent himself flying into; and watching it happen is the only funny thing he's ever been a part of.
