This show should be called AWKWARD. That first question was VERY awkward. And even though they are being "honest", they are still lying. Every relationship, even what is perceived as closest possible, people still can never share EVERYTHING about themselves. We are all alone in our own minds. But it is nice to feel like we have somebody that understands and excepts everything about ourselves, even if it is an illusion. It's like free will. We don't have free will, but the illusion of it is nice. And I'm not trying to be negative, but there just is no such thing as a perfect balance between friends and relationships. You could tell by watching these two, when one of them said something nice the other one felt like they needed to say something nice,too, even though they probably did not feel the exact same way. For instance: her saying " I never knew the meaning of buddy..." , and then she went on to somehow turn buddy into this whole great thing. It is possible she is just not comfortable in this format to really express herself, and she is probably that way anyhow( note her awkward laughing), but there is a dynamic to their friendship which is more take for one and more give from the other. But that is ok, that is how relationships work. People are in relationships for their own selfish reasons. Yes, you can feel sorry for people and want to help others, but you are really doing it for yourself. Mother Teresa helped people, because it made HER feel good helping others. Regardless, the method works The truth is not as nice as what the perceived reality is. I like more of the debates this show does ( ie, pro-life pro-choice). It is just VERY difficult to get people to be honest about personal relationships. HOWEVER, if it is about religion, politics.. (things that are outside of us)... LOOK OUT! :-)

Ive been friends with this guy for almost five years . My mom loves him, we always hanged out till like four o'clock in the morning. He even would sleep over in the same bed and my mom didn't care.
