It's cause, generally, men tend to be taller. Anything associated with what men "should" be or what differentiates men from women, is generally considered more masculine. Beards are generally considered more masculine, muscles etc

I seriously don’t understand the obsession with (specifically male) height in the dating world. I have never personally felt that below average height = unattractive. I am taller than my partner and it has never been an issue. The only thing that makes shorter men unattractive is when they’re clearly insecure about it. I believe that any feature that strays away from the average, is not seen as attractive. Attractiveness can be related to what we are genetically conditioned to like, because in a way, that particular feature, can then be passed down onto your child which, any feature from your partner that you found attractive has something to do with making your legacy more healthy, reducing the risks of the species going extinct which is literally the goal of all living things on earth. to live on, Although our mind don't do it, our bodies do that on it's own. My boyfriend did well in rugby because he is short. It is also great when you're weight lifting because you can lift a shorter distance than someone taller. Really there is benefits to being short, average, or tall and nobody should feel bad for something they can't control

5'7 is fairly tall by US standards for a woman ....if the average height for women in the states is about 5'4, being 5'7 would make you taller than about 85% of all American women ... so if you live in a 'short state', that percentage will be even higher.

Speaking as a 5ft (1.52m) tall 30yo male, I still get blown away that someone Anthony's height would still be labeled as short. But I know, to me, someone that height is fairly tall. But I love the energy he has in regards to his height. Sam is someone who I feel for on a personal level though, as someone as short as I am, both at 10:58 - 11:16 and 13:24 - 13:42

I would listen to the pitch of each voice carefully . On average taller people have deeper voices. Also it would make sense that taller people have larger / longer heads on average but I think the deepness of a voice is a stronger corelation.

Maybe woman might not like that you’re short but they will notice you’re attractiveness for sure. At that point if you have a chance to talk to them it’s all about confidence and personality.

I'm on the short side of the spectrum. Society tends to see me as less masculine and I struggled with accepting my height for a long time. It doesn't help with the ladies. They are always looking for Tall, Dark, and Handsome. Now that I am in my 30s I have just come to accept it and it doesn't bother me as much.
