Very cool & informative .... As a geology lover, I liked how you shared the experience with others; kids ARE our future! And as a descendant of a Comanche, you were respectful towards the Cherokee nation. ;)) *Keep up the good work, Sir!

If you are local and can make a day trip of it, try going in late december, early January, about 2 hours before sunset, on a clear day. The glyphs should be amplified by the position of the sun at that time. I have not been here yet, but asked myself before looking in the satellite photos "i wonder if the slant faces the west". When i looked, i seen that i predicted correctly. I am from Southern Illinois and we have several petraglyph sites in our Shawnee National Forest. 90% of these petraglyphs benefit with amplification by the winter solstice and the angle of the setting sun.
