The CHASM BETWEEN JUDAISM +CHRISTIANITY: Understanding the Differences with Rabbi Michael Skobac, Director of Jewish Education for Jews for Judaism.
Many people do not understand the differences between Judaism and Christianity. They may know that Christianity originally began as a movement within Judaism and assume that there is little difference between the two, except belief in Jesus a God and Messiah.
Not so. What is not well understood is how this transformation actually took place. This presentation examines the critical differences that unravels Christianity from its Jewish roots.
Questions should be directed to RabbiSkobac@JewsForJudaism.ca.

JEWS FOR JUDAISM is an outreach organization whose primary goal is to win back to Judaism those Jews who have been influenced by the following six threats to Jewish survival that are devastating the global Jewish community.
1. Hebrew-Christian missionaries convert thousands of Jews worldwide every year
2. Destructive cults cause many Jews to abandon family, friends and careers
3. Eastern religions, Buddhism and Hinduism are spiritual choices for many Jews
4. Apathy and ignorance leave many Jews unaware, unaffiliated and assimilated
5. Intermarriage is exploding with a 75% rate in some North American cities
6. Anti-Israel BDS on campus inhibits Jewish students from standing up for Israel and Judaism
To assist non-Jews who have left other religions, JEWS FOR JUDAISM also provides educational programs to help them embrace the Torah’s Seven Noachide Laws for Gentiles.
We achieve our goals through our worldwide Internet outreach, Social Media, free educational programs, educational literature and counseling services that connect Jewish people to the spiritual depth, beauty and wisdom of Judaism.
“I am so grateful to have discovered the wonderful Jews for Judaism KZbin lectures by Rabbi Skobac. I am a Jew who converted to Christianity in college, but now, thanks to your online outreach, I have returned to Judaism. Thank you.” - Rebecca G.
In a nutshell, Jews for Judaism saves Jewish lives and keeps Jews Jewish.
PLEASE SUPPORT JEWS FOR JUDAISM’S LIFE-SAVING WORK!
Your help is very much needed and greatly appreciated.
Jews for Judaism never charges for its programs, books and counseling services… ever.

I always believed the main focus should be a true relationship with God! ..I was born catholic, and never believed thier truth, Christianity focus on Jesus, but I figured even if they knew who Jesus was , then God who is the God of Israel 🇮🇱 still is one true God!...I always figured Jews were blessed and loved by God! GOD will never leave nor forsake them Jewish ✡️ nation! While the rest of us try , jews know the road to forgiveness, power and authority, and ultimately to have a direct and personal relationship with God!

Thank you Ha' Shem for such a loving and excellent message. Christianity acts like ha' satan has more power than The One True Creator and their gods need a middle man to be forgiven. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did. Thank you Rabbi for sharing the real truth of Ha' shem. ❤

Unfortunately, traditional Christianity diminishes importance of keeping God's commandments, to their shame. The concept of punishment in traditional Christianity has been distorted from that of the Biblical. Rabbi is right in this respect. Traditional Christianity has done more harm than good to the Biblical concept of punishment.

The problem is although Jews are exiled out of their land, they are not in captivity. They are free people in free countries, and it seems that majority like the condition in which they are. What Jewish people do in order to bring about this utopian world? It looks like pious Jewish people are preoccupied only with topic of how to separate themselves from the rest of the world. How are you going to bring about the utopian world then?

Rabbi Skobac, everything you say is sound and makes sense. However, I have just one question: When the Jewish people are all back in Israel, having successfully brought about peace and every one to G-d. Why would the Jewish people, having made the world a holy place, need a king, to lead them?
@JewsforJudaismCanada

Ultimately, the real King of Israel, and the world, is the Creator. Why will Israel have a Messianic King at that time? There are several things to consider: a) This is the system that God has ordained. We see many of His prophets speaking of a Davidic King during the future utopian age b) This is normal. Ever since man began walking on this planet, groups and societies have been organized with some kind of leadership structure. In situations where there wasn't leadership (ie. the Book of Judges) anarchy reigned. The Messianic age will be populated by normal human beings. Leadership is part of what normal societies have. c) We don't have to think about a King or leader as someone needed to control the more base elements in human beings. The Messianic king will primarily be a spiritual leader to help the world actualize its spiritual potential during this utopian age. Rabbi Michael Skobac

I appreciate your videos as it helps me understand the differences between Judaism and Christianity even though I am neither one. One thing that bothers me though is how you reference the Talmud as if it's as important as the Tanakh. I see the Talmud (oral traditions of men) as on equal terms as the NT. Both distract from the truth and both play "God". Also, let's remember when the term "Jews" came about. Yah is very clear that his people are Israel and in Isaiah it's mentioned, Israel and Judah. Israel are God's set-apart people and, this includes the sojourner. If you could simply stick to the Torah, Prophets and Psalms, I think you would reach people more effectively. I doubt this would happen though because it is "man-made religion" that you are mainly subscribed to rather than sticking with the Torah and Witness. In Isaiah it's clearly stated "To the Torah and Witness! If they speak not according to this word they have no daybreak."

You are 100% right. Some commandments are for the Levites, some for the Preists, some for farmers, some for soldiers, some for mothers who give birth, some for getting rid of leprosy in your house, (if you have a house) some for... well I think you get the picture.

28:33 not true the very first words that Yahshua spoke were "REPENT! FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND" he later goes on to say that we will be judged by our deeds. Later Yahshua reiterates that unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Peter mentioned than many of Paul's writings would really be misinterpreted and taken out of context. Paul says that we are obligated to fulfil all the law if we are circumcised. So these lies you are teaching are not true. The basic message that many pastors rabbis Christians and even theologians miss is the message of the kingdom of heaven. He days to seek the kingdom of heaven above all things. For some strange reason this is not taught in modern seminaries and it's sad. Also, technically, since the sinaitic covenant is an everlasting covenant it is not supposed to be done away with and it is still indeed very valid. It's sad that the bible literally warns that many many Christians who think they are going to heaven WON'T. Now all the things I've mentioned are imperative and important yet skipped by you and most churches and teachers.

Rabbi, you said Jesus was not seen physically but only in visions. I would like to point you to Apostle Thomas who doubted and wanted to put his finger through his nail holes. Jesus later appeared and asked Thomas just to do that. Also Jesus ate with them. I am sorry you were not factual when referring to the New Testament.

John, you stated “Rabbi, you said Jesus was not seen physically but only in visions.” The Rabbi needs to know where exactly in the video does he say what you claim he says, because he can only respond if he sees that he said what you claim and the context in which he said it. Thank you.

There is NO decent of Dovid it is Dovid who G-d says will rise up and restore Dovid's Sukkah, his covering, his body. and he will not be the KING...he is to be the Prince and he is to Shepherd HaShem's people.... it is Dovid who will offer the sacrifices for our KING who is HaShem Himself that will rule from His Holy Temple Throne. You are missing some very important theology Truths. Moshiach means Savior and in Isaiah 43:10-11 G-d Himself states that there is no god before Him nor will there be any god after Him and HE the G-d of Israel is our ONLY SAVIOR..... It is G-d who will be KING over this whole world not Dovid.
