Me, personally, I have never heard a better cover song than this. I've listened to the original, it's a great song, mellow, classic rock, folky feel, a great song. Then Priest made it heavy metal with the original. Then made it into a "breather" of a song during live shows with slower version. Then added two and two, thank god, and made this masterpiece of a version. I listened to this numerous times with my eyes closed completely focused on every note, every lyrics and every hit of the drum. When that drum fill kicks in continuous goosebumps commence and when the crowd takes over you're simply on another level of existence.

God you just have to love the life that Richie has breathed into this band. Stepping into KK's shoes would send most wannabe's packing, but he not only has done it with consumate ease, he's added so much to the live shows. I'm 53, sitting in my home office writing with the sun shining in, and just had to turn this right up and bang my head. Fucking timeless. British steel was what we used to wake up to at boarding school back in 83...never figured I'd be still be listening to them 40 years later. That's the thing you have to love about metal: styles and trends are fleeting.... todays 'music' is more about the video than the talent and whats hot today is forgotten tomorrow, as are their fans....yet metal and metal fans stay the course. At 13 I was told it was a 'phase' I was going through. Thank you metal...best 40 year phase ever.

There is only one GOD in METAL. METAL is my RELIGION, and JUDAS PRIEST is my one and only GOD. I will keep on LISTENING and WORSHIPPING them Till the day I die.🤘🤘🤘

This Version is awesome. One of the best songs I've ever heard.

My first introduction to metal. Stained Class album. Named my tarantula, Judas. First time cost me 4.99. At the Gardens at the pne. Then … Screaming for Vengeance tour. They EXPLODED.

This is a looser version than I've heard them play in the past and I really like it. Has a jam quality at the front half that just explodes in the second.

I'll be damned, here comes your ghost again But that's not unusual It's just that the moon is full And you decided to call And here I sit, hand on the telephone Hearing the voice I'd known A couple of light years ago Heading straight for a fall But we both know what memories can bring They bring diamonds and rust Yes we both know what memories can bring They bring diamonds and rust Now I see you standing all around and snow in your hair Now we're smiling out the window of the crummy hotel over Washington Square Our breath comes on white clouds, mingles and hangs in the air Speaking strictly for me, we both could've died then and there Now you're telling me you're not nostalgic Then give me another word for it You were so good with words And at keeping things vague 'Cause I need some of that vagueness now It's all come back too clearly Yes, I love you dearly And if you're offering me diamonds and rust, I've already paid But we both know what memories can bring They bring diamonds and rust Yes we both know what memories can bring They bring diamonds and rust Diamonds, diamonds and rust Diamonds, diamonds and rust Diamonds, diamonds and rust Don't want no more diamonds, diamonds and rust
