I've been to about 12 concerts and Judas Priest is the only one that I thought sounded better live. Their live play made me enjoy songs of which I didn't like the album version. Tracks played by many of my other favorite bands sounded distorted when I heard them live. Priest is in a class by themselves.

@rihardstuka4133 жыл бұрын
I think the problem initially was the introduction of a new sound in the "turbo" album. A sound that was heavily relying on synthesizers and other forms of electronic music. People were really critical and worried about Judas Priest becoming an 80's synth pop band. But it was heavily overblown. In the end this is still Priest. The double guitar solos on turbo were some of the best from their entire catalogue. And the instrumentals in general were far beyond anything in 80's synth pop/edm records. And deep inside it still kept the vibe of Judas Priest. It was just expressed differently.
@pedrotrejo81183 жыл бұрын
I swear as a fan of all the albums, they all sound different yet sound priest. And now they've all aged well for the stage decades later to be molded together like the metal they are.

I really love the Turbo album, the whole thing is tons of fun. But yeah you're right... A lot of people really hate on it. It's nice to see so much love for it these days as it's one of my top Priest albums. I think it still sounds very Priest, a little different but still, almost all their albums sound different.

Есть классные группы, их много. Вокалисты, гитаристы, барабанщики...Но для меня с детства были, есть и остаются самыми крутыми две банды-Judas Priest и Iron Maiden!!! Это величайшие группы всех времен и народов! =) There are cool groups, there are a lot of them. Vocalists, guitarists, drummers ... But for me, since childhood, two gangs-Judas Priest and Iron Maiden have been, and remain the coolest !!! These are the greatest groups of all time! =)

Holy Mother Of God that Les Paul sounded so sweet. I hate Gibsons Q.C. but their sound with a Marshall or Mesa Boogie is just mind blowing.

As much as Priest is my favourite band OAT, someone pointed out how stiff they are on stage and ngl I see it now. My opinion doesn't change at all, but they definitely need to be more alive. I get they're older now, but still. I think they've somewhat always been like this. This however is literally the only downside / bad thing about Judas Priest entirely.

I was crying when they started with Dragonaut at Ergo Arena in Gdańsk...Being only 2 metres from The Metal God - a person with the voice that changed my life was amazing. Also in Łódź the fans of Judas Priest were amazing when the Priest was playing Turbo Lover. Probably in this song the audience was the loudest.
