Im only 35 years old, so I didnt really get to see Priest evolve over the years. Admittedly I only became a big fan over the past few years. I've listened to much of their catalog and I have plenty more to go! One thing I know for sure is that Priest is a live band, their songs all sound so incredible played live. Even songs like Turbo Lover (which I know was polarizing to fans in 86) is excellent played live! Im taking my 11 year old son to see them in 2022 on their final show show of the 50th anniversary tour. He's a fan too! Can't wait!

I was 20 years old when British Steel was released. I remember me and my buddies playing side one of that album so many times, that the needle dug a hole right through the record. A year later, we had our own metal band. 1980 was a particularly great year for metal.
