From Halford's book: "I wrote 'No Surrender' about Glenn, the bravest bloke I know, willing to face down a debilitating neurological disorder to play the music that he loves, and to push himself to the very limits of his capabilities for the cause of heavy metal ... When I presented the band with those lyrics in the studio, I didn't say to Glenn that the song was about him, but I didn't need to. He just knew."

How the fuck does Halford still sound this flawless? Anything the years have stolen from his upper register he's stolen right back as grit, tone and sheer power. He doesn't sound the least bit tired, worn out or otherwise - he just sounds genuinely good as hell.

So what? Judas Priest have been around for like 40 years....there aren't any NEW metal bands doing anything interesting because there's no market for metal music in the US. Once all these legacy acts retire there will be absolutely nothing left. Halford can barely even move on stage.
@painkiller8639
@painkiller8639 6 жыл бұрын
ZachAttack84 No metal bands that you know off! A bunch of them are still around and doing stuff, but you just don't look for any. And I don't mean from other sub-genres, but just looking at the power metal scenery, there are still a lot of bands. Go and search instead of whining about it (and btw, the US isnt the only market, Europe is probably the biggest market of heavy metal with the Scandinavian countries and the UK, also Australia and Japan are too).

New album is very good but Priest don't get better with age unless you really think Nostradamus is a great album and better than albums like Sad Wings, British Steel and Painkiller. Priest like most bands with 40 years+ in the business have had a "golden era" and been inconsistent since then. Let's be honest, the last 30 years haven't exactly been filled with greatness. They've had good, decent and bad albums.

Do you have a few minutes ? :) So much deception is happening right now & so much deception lies ahead. Climate change is a deception. I know for a fact all weather & geo disasters, including hurricanes, tornadoes, arctic-like weather, drought wind driven wildfires, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes & tsunamis, are planned & engineered with HAARP Directed Energy technology. My friend worked on the HAARP project back in the 1990's. The first year of HAARP Gakona Alaska HAARP engineered hurricane Iniki hit the island of Kauai on 9-11-1992. They are purposely destroying homes, crops & drinkable water sources. They even put 2- 30 ft Angel statues on the Hoover dam so when the dam breaks the Angels will fall like Fallen Angels. All wars are based on lies orchestrated by the Rothschild (Wrathchild) Banking cartel which owns all central banks including the fraudulent US Federal Reserve banks. They fund both sides of every war & charge interest. Immoral Bush Obama wars have purposely inflated the US national debt which is currently $ 21.917 trillion & snowballing out of control. The Rothschild owned IMF will soon declare the US dollar insolvent which means worldwide economic collapse, chaos, Martial Law & WW3. 9-11-2001 was a huge deception. There were no Arab hijackers. Planes made of aluminum can't magically disappear into buildings made of concrete & steel. The Twin towers were rigged with thermite explosives which is why they imploded exactly like a controlled demolition. Building 7 also was rigged to collapse. The news said Flight "11" hit the N Tower when in reality there were no planes. People who were there said the planes didn't look real....because they were holograms ! The pentagon damage looked like a circular hole caused by a missile or it too was rigged with explosives. 911 days later to the day on 3-11 the Madrid trains were bombed. The US emergency # is 911. Peter Gabriel's song Sledgehammer won 9 MTV on 9-11-1987. Revelation 9:11 They have over them a king, an Angel of the Abyss whose name in Hebrew is A-bad-don the Destroyer, in Greek his name is A-pol-lyon the Destroyer.....The Angel of the Abyss is Lucifer aka Satan the Devil. So now you know why the number 11 pops up so often, it's homage to the Angel of the Abyss which is nothingness ! Another huge deception is space exploration. It's impossible to pass thru the firmament that covers the earth. NASA expects us to believe they were able to send a signal 13 billion miles away to turn Voyager One that's allegedly been in deep space for 37 years ??? Recently they said InSight space craft traveled 33.9 million in 7 months to reach Mars (Mars is the Roman god of war aka Satan) I did the math & it would have to travel at a constant 6700 mph without colliding into any meteors, stars or space junk ??? Any country that claims to have a space program is lying which proves these countries are acting in collusion....Satan is the ruler of this world so he controls all governments, no exception to the rule ! China's space station allegedly burned up upon re-entry ? Why wouldn't it burn up when it was ALLEGEDLY sent into space ? There is a hidden agenda. UFO's are not from other planets they are aircraft made here on earth. There are no space aliens but I know for a fact there are Nephilim Giant/animal hybrids. They are going to stage a fake War of the Worlds alien invasion with Demon possessed hybrids. Nazi scientists have been cloning & cross hybridizing species at least since the 50's. They have cloned humans so Demon possessed clones have been walking among us since the 1950's....THEY LIVE ! They isolated the Nephilim Giantism gene so they can splice the gene into any animal or animal hybrid. They have created Dragons, Leviathans, 50 ft Great White Sharks, Werewolf Lycanthropes, Jeepers Creepers Demonic looking Fallen Angels, Giant Apes, Scorpion/Nephilim hybrids (ALIEN is a Scorpion hybrid) By cross hybridizing species they can create Dinosaur Raptors that never existed prior to this technology. As you know there is no pre-Tribulation Rapture but some people may get chomped by a hybrid Raptor ! By cross hybridizing a Nephilim Giant with a Whale They could create Godzilla.....Look out Tokyo :P Also according to FBI chief Ted Gunderson the US government has built approximately 1000 FEMA internment camps with barbed wire facing inwards, XL plastic stackable coffins & guillotines. Gunderson was poisoned because he would speak at Patriot conventions warning those who would listen. I have also heard they've built microwave death chambers. Revelation 20:4 refers to the beheading of faithful Christians. In Nazi Germany many German Jehovah's Witnesses who refused to renounce their faith were flogged & guillotined, men & women. In 1980 a 19 ft granite monument was erected in Georgia called the Georgia Guidestones which is written in 12 languages including Hebrew. The first guideline says "Keep humanity at a constant 500 million or less" The current world population is supposedly 7.7 billion so the ruling oligarchy families want to kill off over 7 billion people. The Rothschilds, Rockefellers, the British monarchy are just a few of the oligarchy families who are inbred into one bloodline of generational Satanist Vampires. Prince Charles says he is a descendant of Vlad the Impaler who is from the house of Draculiste. Charles was recently given the "honorary" title of prince of Transylvania. There is a physiological difference between Children's blood & adult's blood. Vampires need young blood to remain young & to reverse their age after they fake their deaths. In the US over 50,000 children disappear every year never to be seen again. These children are used for their blood & for ritual sacrifice to Satan. This world is run by evil psychopaths. One last thing. The Rockefellers own Big Pharma which controls all medical schools & most hospitals. The definition of Pharmakeia is sorcery & witchcraft which is forbidden by Jehovah ! Vaccines & pharmaceuticals are Pharmakeia ! God didn't create a virus that causes paralysis. Polio is a lie. During the 1950's an insecticide called DDT was being sprayed on crops so these chemicals would build up in fatty tissue causing paralysis. When they banned DDT they lied & said they eradicated a virus called Polio with vaccinations. The recent microcephaly (babies born with small heads) occurrences in Brazil were caused by heavy spraying of insecticides not an innocuous virus called Zika which is no worse than the common cold. Some vaccines are cultured in a cell line from an aborted female fetus. Vaccines contain aluminum adjuvants , some contain a mercury based preservative called Thimerosal, Formaldehyde & Endocrine Hormone disruptors. When heavy metals are injected directly into the bloodstream they can migrate to the brain causing brain injuries such as Epilepsy, Autism, MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's & Brain Cancer ! When a developing child is injected over & over again with hormone disruptors & female cell lines it can & does manipulate their sexuality which is why we are seeing dramatic increases in transgenders & gays. BPA in plastic is also a hormone disruptor. A recent test showed that most perfumes & colognes contain hormone disrupting chemicals. Underarm deodorants & antiperspirants contain hormone disruptors & carcinogenic chemicals. Antiperspirants block the armpit from sweating out toxins causing them to accumulate in the lymph nodes.....BREAST CANCER ! The Susan G Komen Breast Cancer foundation is a fraud. Komen's sister at one time was making over $500 k annually when she was the foundation president, now she makes $325 k annually for doing absolutely nothing. They know the cause but they don't want you to know it!

2021 was the worst year of my life, my dad passed away (the curious thing was that Firepower was released ON HIS BIRTHDAY five years ago) and my mom was really overwhelmed about what I was doing. I was searching for a new home and thankfully I got a new home to live in. I played this song every single day until I reached my goal... Thank you Judas Priest for saving me once again,now with this song.

I've learned from firsthand experience that (probably all) schitzophrenics are not delusional. This may be hard to consider, but evil reptilian demon monsters are real, and they have natural, "supernatural," seeming abilities, utilizing quantum entanglement (I know that cause, after I started getting overtly harassed by these beings, I actually got answered by angels, who confirmed this). I'll link to some of my evidence. Much is original. There's a therapist named Sandra Fecht (who I'll link to), who first went along with the therapist consensus, that these beings aren't real and the people who had been traumatized were just crazy. She eventually had to come to the conclusion, after over 20 thousand hours of victim testimony, that these people were not delusional, because of the extreme corroborating accounts. I was exposing and encouraging opposition to the New World Order, when all this paranormal and UFO activity started happening around me. I started getting overtly harassed and my life threatened, by what turned out to be these evil pieces of excrement. Very long story, but I'll say the most important part. There is a way to, very effectively, stop the telepathic attacks (I'll link to a summary I wrote with more details). People have to pray and ask for the Holy Spirit. Then, they can comand the demons to release them and/or whomever, in Jesus Christ's name. They should say it a few times. Idk why, but this is very effective. The monsters can't withstand it. This must be done periodically, because the beings do come back. They can also be tortured away with christian music. As you can probably imagine, exposing these monsters is not very pleasant, becaause of all the stupid idiots calling me crazy. I'm doing it because it's the right thing to do. I've written a summary of my experiences, with evidence (much is original photographic evidence), at www.quora.com/profile/Stacy-Madden-11. I've compiled a bit more, at Parler.com/Tommy321. I've started a tiktok account, named reptilian_demon_exposure. Here are some good, hard to find YT videos, exposing them: Top Secret Clearance Officer/Abductee kzbin.info/www/bejne/onOlnmhmedGYsJY Therapist Believes After 20k Hrs Victim Testimony kzbin.info/www/bejne/lairaZ-fitmjqaM Crash Investigation Officer's Daughter's Experience (@19 mins in) kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZq9eGV-iMuIgJY Ancient Knowlege Keeper & Abductee. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYHIgHalqr9srpY Scientist Discovers Invisible Intelligent "Sky Fish" (Archons) kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZi1dGWnlLt_e68 Ancient Inca Text Describes Archons (Demon Souls) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIHRhap-rK5rnas I'll soon update my collections wiith new evidence. I have thousands of hours of audio evidence, but, it will be very tedious and difficult to go through, because of the cell phone recorder format. I've also just met a military veteran staff sergeant, who has lots of experience, who says he's aquired, "proof." Sounds interesting. I can assure you that this stuff is true, and, for many reasons, I'm confident it's not just a hoax, perpetrated by the use of advanced psychotronic technology, as I first suspected, although they do also use hidden advanced technology and psychological conditioning. The fools who are so arrogant and condescending, in their ignorance, who just assume this stuff can't be going on (like there couldn't possibly be anything they don't know about), are a huge problem, and, frankly, an embarrassment to humanity. It's pretty aggravating reading, "experts," implying, to schitzophrenics, online, that they are just delusional! I suspect that very few, if any, are actually delusional, considering the types of things heard by them, and the types of behaviors many end up having, like murder and suicide, because that's these beings' goal, and they love it when nobody believes the victims.

Firepower is one of those albums that makes me remember why I began to love heavy metal in the first place. Sometimes legacy bands tend to sound tired, worn out or feel like they're phoning it in after 40 years in their career (*cough* Iron Maiden *cough*). But JP came back in 2018 and delivered one of the finest heavy metal albums of the last decade or so. And I'm not just saying that because it's Judas Priest and they're owed some kind of recognition. I mean that they legitimately wrote something that I will listen to alongside their 70s and 80s classics and hold in just as high esteem. And this song is just fucking inspiring, no pretender.

Over two years later, I still listen to Judas Priest's Firepower album very often. In my opinion it is a MASTERPIECE!!! Songs like No Surrender, Rising From Ruins, Spectre, Traitors Gate, and Lightning Strikes are modern day classics. Black Sabbath might be the band that started Heavy Metal music, but in my opinion Judas Priest is the band that perfected it.
