Seems like 1990 was an epic year!!! Holy Wars and Painkiller were released the same year. Classic and legendary bands touring... music is not like it used to be. By the way, Rob has a nice personality off stage also.

Went to that opening night at the Montreal Forum 10/18/'90, it was great & when Priest went on the sound man must have lost his mind - it was BY FAR the LOUDEST concert I've been to & I've been to many, it was stupid to push the PA that far. I fortunately had earplugs with me & even they weren't enough. I was around row 20 on my left side, I guess I could have been in the PA's sound wave hot spot but man I wish I had a decibel meter in my pocket-lol

Damn, this takes me back. This was 1990, right before Desert Storm so it was cool that Rob gave a shout out to the armed forces. I'll never forget when this tour came to my town, I was there and he introduced "All guns blazing" by saying "this next one is for Saddam fuck you Hussein"!

Weird how Rob says "Between the Hammer and the Anvil" has lyrics influenced by the Reno court case, and yet the album was fully recorded and done before they were even in court >_>
@Glamosapien9 жыл бұрын
theyre smart musicians they probably kept working at the songs until the final product was down, so they would've kept perfecting the songs when they went back after the reno case and maybe changed some lyrics even solos who knows
@jerseyforhawks6 жыл бұрын
Epic classic, history has a way of simply presenting greatness, I certainly do not think 'Hey Reno' with that huge tune.
@amy-ql5wo3 жыл бұрын
It had been discussed before that though, so they would have been aware before the actual trial.
