Best version of an old Fleetwood Mac song. Rob puts the right attitude behind it and makes it a winner.

Unleased in the East was the first album (vinyl) I ever owned. Went to the Screaming for Vengeance concert in the early 80's and they blew me away. Ian Hill, KK Downing, Glen Tipton, Rob Halford... all legends of heavy metal. Saw them again back in '05 and they still have it. Yeah Rob moved a little slower, but Priest still entertains after all these years. I love metal because of them. Long live the Priest!

It says a lot about the quality of a band when everybody's favorite represents a different era of said band. Priest did so much in the late 70s and early 80s that their influence in practically incalculable. Every album was a major influence.

Judas Priest made this song their own back in the late 70's. So much so to the point that I bet the vast majority of people don't even know this is a Fleetwood Mac tune (from the Peter Green era). Priest has always kicked ass on this tune and they still do. A mainstay at nearly every priest concert I've ever seen (which is quite a few).

My favorite Judas Priests' or a close second to Jawbreaker. They playing it slow for some reason or I just remember playing it faster with my friends. Honestly, if you speed up all of Priests song, they sounds alot better.

Priest will never die, even if they eventually just die of old age like Bo Diddley, their spirit will carry on with the younger metalheads. There will always be more bands to carry the torch, even if we are in a younger metal band drought now. It is always darkest before the dawn after all.

I had no idea! They still sound this great in 2006? I suppose a voice like his does not just go away.. it's still so powerful and, if anything, more controlled. That heavy guitar sound is awesome, too. The band is one of the greats, imo.

well, vocal lines in unleashed in the east have been totally overdubbed in the studio coz Rob was ill when Priest were touring japan; but you might as well mention the 1982 Live Vengeance or the 1986 Priest Live for further examples that prove rob's voice and personality. The video is awesome BTW.

I've always known it was a fleetwood mac song, but early fleetwood mac which is more bluesey than the 70-80's pop stuff. Despite the original being pretty good, I still think Priest (and Halford) own this song. My appreciation of Judas Priest and Rob Halford has only increased through the years, the still pull it off live ... better than most of their age. Rock On.
