That's one of the beautiful things about technology that has been out since, oh, the 50's or 60's, if not earlier. You can listen to literally anything you want at home or in your car. EVERYONE knows radio is trash. Just buy the record, tape, CD, mp3, etc, and bam! You're literally allowed to listen to your favorite music whenever you want, wherever you want!

@NineInchFailz, as a 64 year old, I can tell you that they were awesome times, but you had luxuries and cool stuff in your youth we never dreamed of. There’s a up and down side to pretty much everything. Honestly, most of the ‘80’s hair metal I could not give a crap about, but these guys were special. Bad to the bone, they were.

@schecter5035, idk what it is, man. Someone told me “if you’re into priest, you’re into metal”, but I honestly wasn’t/am not. Pretty much just THESE guys. It’s hard driving and kick ass, and it’s melodic. I mean, these guys had metal hits on pop radio. There’s just something about them. I was 22 years old and living in Memphis at the time. Have kicked myself in the ass for decades for not attending this show.
@Gilbert_Dice_Gottfried2 ай бұрын
I consider them a ROCK band mostly but they are also a metal band. Priest was from an era that wasn’t defined by labels like metal, or punk, or rock, or whatever. It was just good music. There are plenty of metal bands that I don’t like and many I do and in my opinion, priest is better than all of them. Their era of music was before metal and it was an era I prefer to later metal scenes. Just my opinion.
