Coutinho, Hazard, Alexis Sanchez, Henry, and Beckham are all players who were significantly better in the Prem than in La Liga... Calling La Liga "not competitive" is just ignorant.

Countinho, wasn’t all that great, Hazard was hurt, Sanchez played with Villa, Messi, Pedro, Xavi Iniesta, Busquets etc so it’s hard to stand out, Beckham while he was good at Madrid, wasn’t anywhere close to being the best player in those teams. So it was definetly about the difference in levels of the teams they were apart of in La Liga. While PL now has a case to be the best in the world, it wasn’t in the 70-90’s, or in the 00-10’s Sure the PL has obviously has CL winning teams, but they haven’t been era defining, like the Barcalona and Madrid’s of the 10’s, the dominance of serie a teams in the 90’s etc.

​@thetruth4654 I agree apart from late 76 to 85 their was an English team in 9 finals & won 7 out of 9 till the ban that's hurt English football but the Spanish league disrespect is crazy as that was the best league to me from 1996 till 2014 as league from top to bottom but the separate TV rights deal has hurt la liga ! Madrid and Barcelona don't care as long as the get the most money instead of a healthy league where everyone has a chance
