Her idea of coming to an agreement means getting what she wants. I suppose she did say agreement, not compromise. Let your child do stuff. Geez, he can't go skating, he can't do cub scouts, he can't play football. But wait! He can play chess! 🙄

Omg this mom is exhausting. The only reason she cares now is because she stopped getting child support for a kid that lives with dad. She contradicted herself so many times. Although Dad needs to get in check how he speaks to mom in front of their son- but coming from a mom that beats a child with a shoe, I bet it goes both ways.

When mom said the reason why she used a shoe to beat Omari was because he started to hit her, well, there you go. "Beating" a child teaches them to solve problems through physical violence. Mom showed the child (again) that whoever can "beat down" the other person is the "winner."

Yes, I had issues with that case and what the court was saying too. A a child works hard for money and you steal it from them, it teaches a lesson whether you think money is important in a relationship or not. There was all kinds of dismissing the daughter's thoughts and feelings. Not saying daughter was perfect, but from personal experience, it seems like a whole lot more was going on that was not addressed and should have been.

I think the CS to the mom ended or was going to end was the issue and possibly she might have to start paying. The judge can’t even talk to the mom so there is no way the dad has a chance.

The child being torn between the 2 is just plain wrong..let dad be dad and mom have him every other weekend once she proves thru supervised visits she has the ability to mother. She needs parenting classes. He needs anger management.

In my opinion mom wants joint for $$ and control but as soon as she gets it “she will allow” the son to be back with the dad. Since she was primary why didn’t she keep the son on health insurance either pay for private thru her work or the new normal of everyone wanting to get free insurance paid for by taxpayers.

I am shocked the dad got joint cause I have never seen this judge this fair to a father. Be sure to add the mom’s overtime in just like fathers and have her pay for medical. From testimony it’s not clear if the son’s behavior to the mom is really the problem or is it the mom’s behavior causing the problems. She clearly expects everyone to do what she says and even had a difficult time listening or answering the judges questions.

Why does this mom think she can stop the son from talking to his father when he is in her house? I would be doing well fair checks on my son too if his Mather beat him with a belt. Judges usually order phone or video chats both ways when the child is in the other parent’s custody. I almost laughed out loud when the mom said she didn’t do something to keep the peace😅. In my opinion the mom needs to give all the CS money back during the time the dad had him.

I can tell you what scools my children went to all theit lives. That was in the 80s,90s and 2000s. How can she not know the name of the school her child attended for elementary. I can also tell you the names of all 8 of my grandchildrens schools. This woman is inactive in the childs life.

Hey mom do you think the problem with a 12 year olds behavior escalating could be because of you, your actions and the fact he wants to visit friends like a normal child? Hey mom, do what others parents do by taking time to check with the other parents then let him visit. He shouldn’t be a prisoner with no phone calls on your time otherwise his behavior will escalate with you.
