Sherilyn Barbee Donner It wasn't a friendship from the beginning. I had a so called friend of many years do me the same. Borrowed money and always had an excuse why she couldn't get it to me. Even had me drive to her mother's house to pick up the check, only to hear she had misplaced it when I got there. I severed the relationship at that point. Haven't seen her since.

I owed my mother 800 and said I'd give it to her out of my tax return. Soon as I got my refund I got my tail down to Walmart, found 8 things to buy, got 800 bucks, and handed it over. XD That's why they don't end up in court! Only the people that don't pay up get taken to court. Just funny that I had this situation happen recently.

Where does Bible thumper come into either of these cases? I'm a Christian as well, but I don't believe in Bible thumping, because I believe it's the Word of God that has the responsibility of convicting us of our sins, therefore I do not have to say repent or go to hell; That's not my job! But if I can share the Word of God, as it is written, here and there, and get His Word inside of your ears, that's the most I can hope to achieve, and just let Him do the rest.

If you can't spare it, if you can't give it away and not expect it back, don't loan it. Also, depending on the amount, then a person can not come back to you and ask for anything else or any more money. I learned this from my Dad. When young, he would loan me money, small sums as I was very young, he would not ask for it back, but I learned very early to pay him back first before anything, because he was my Dad and I could not go back and ask him for any more money if I failed to pay what I owed him. So, unless you can spare it, don't loan it.

Do not understand in the second case did she not borrow the money and not pay it back? Um...what's with the title "The Bible Thumper"?? At what point did it have anything to do with that subject? Don't click bait with lies, Judge Faith... Also, "Bible thumper" is a derogatory name for a Christian. It gets thrown around a lot and tends to lump every person who claims to be a Christian together when that isn't true. It's just another label that's used as a divide and conquer tactic. I'm a Christian and I don't shove my beliefs down people's throats. I share God's Word and let The Holy Spirit convict people. It's not my place to judge and certainly not in my faith to belittle those who don't believe the way I do. That being said, that doesn't mean I don't have a right to be offended or the right to freedom of speech. Really, the false title you gave the second case has no business being up there so, really, it should be changed to one that actually suits the case.
