@@saritasweeney2253 Rabies vaccinations are for house pets..cats..dogs. I think every 2 years. If a person gets bitten by an animal that has not had the vaccination..or it is a wild animal like a raccoon then that wild animal must be killed to be tested for rabies. They have to examine the brain. But a house pet can be tested without killing it..I think? On the pit bull that attacked the Young woman… I am sorry for the loss of a life, but that dog was nuts, did not have rabies shots (which proves that the owner was plain irresponsible) and the owner is a damn lier: he asked the lady to move to the side because HE KNEW the dog was dangerous. I hope he does not get another dog of this type.
@BatmanPwnage4 жыл бұрын
Any dog can be dangerous if brought up incorrectly. Idk how he got away with owning a dog because you have to register them and they make sure you get your dogs rabies shots every 2 or 3 years depending on what option you choose. My dog has to get a tag renewal every year and she has the other shots as well. And If you can't pay for a shot that you pay every 2 years I don't think you should have a pet. (Even ferrets have to be registered and get rabies shots in my county)
@fiegenfiegen4 жыл бұрын
@@BatmanPwnage Oh, please, not the argument that any dog can be dangerous. Please, there is a huge difference if we are taking a chihuahua or a pit bull! Because of their traits, pit Bulls and smilar breeds are intrinsically more dangerous than any other breed. If you add to it that unsocial or irresponsible people tend to like these breeds, we have a huge problem. These breeds should be banned altogether.
@BatmanPwnage4 жыл бұрын
@@fiegenfiegen ... I think the second dog breed that my county puts down the most are chihuahuas cause they're aggressive. My husbands grandma has a chihuahua. None of my husbands friends liked going to his house cause she would bite their ankles and try to shred their socks. They're small but they're hard to grab and when you grab them they wiggle so much that you don't have a good grip. My sister has a pitbull. Hes just stupid and smells like shit. My mini pinscher has done more damage than him. The only damage he's done is he smells like poop 24/7. My neighbor has a bichon or a maltese. She apparently bites people and her owners let her roam around. The breed of a dog doesn't make one dangerous. Its their upbringing.

Wow, that incident could have gone MUCH worse. She could've lost an eye, gotten killed, or had a miscarriage! She should've sued him for more! It's very sad about his dog though. It's not Max's fault. Being an owner is similar to being a parent in the way that how your dog acts is usually a reflection of how you've raised and trained them. Owners like him get pit bulls because they feel like it makes them look masculine or some shit, but don't take the time to train their dogs and focus their energy and aggression in a controlled environment. Had trained him properly, Max would still be here, this woman wouldn't be scarred for life (physically and emotionally) and his family wouldn't be out of $3,000 dollars. I must say, good on his son for telling the truth. He must have known what his dad told him to say was not right, so he admitted that he was coached. I have hope that he will grow to be an honest man. RIP Max. I wish you had been homed to someone who knew how to doggy-parent you.

As unfortunate as it may be, the ruling was 100% fair, and correct. It’s not for her to prove that he *didn’t* intend to sell a bad pump, it’s the plaintiff’s burden to prove that he did. She is simply there to arbitrate, and there was no evidence that the defendant knew that the pump was bad before he sold it, so her hands were tied in that respect. By defaults, sells on CraigsList and the like are as-is, unless otherwise stated or strongly implied, so for her to overlook that fact, and order the defendant to return the plaintiff’s money, would have been a legal overstep. Emotions don’t outweigh the law.

Defendant in the first case is the exact owner that should never ever own a dog much less that breed, they are the very reason this dog has a bad reputation. I've trained and worked with dogs for well over 25 years and no breed is born bad and that's truth. While certain breeds have certain traits the dog is bred for it can easily be controlled with a responsible owner, training and having the dog used to bring around both human and animal without wanting to attack. No human is responsible for a dog bite even if they go up to the dog and try to touch them. Facts are your dog should be under YOUR control and muzzled . daf the dog was destroyed for having the bad luck of belonging to an irresponsible human. this isn't a dog trying to play, when a dog attacks they always go for the face, throat or arms. She's lucky this was all she got out of this. I've seen horrible attacks and been through it myself. It can be bad, cosmetically and even death to both human and other animals. I feel horrible for this woman and even the dog. He didn't choose how he was taught or belonging to an idiot that was more into having a tough looking dog for bragging rights. He isn't an owner that gets a dog to be a safe companion and pet. Horrific what she went through and I'm thankful the baby was OK Secondly he's trying to say this dog was worth $3000.00( only paid $500 and her to pay because of his actions the dog was put down) and he can afford to pay that for a dog yet couldn't afford proper training or shots? He needs the stupid beat out of him. Sad thing he's teaching his son to lie, chat and not take responsibility as a man and father. He really makes me sick.

to me it looked like a scratch and it was very bad due to maybe dog nails not being properly maintained cut grinded etc. I wouldn’t put it past him since he didn’t even have the proper shots for his dog. That's not a bite it's a nail a bite would have ripped the skin off. I took a dog that has aggressive ways. When they bite it's a whole, nail marks are just like the photo but he should have walked the dog with a face mussel. Period

I feel bad for the woman who was bit. However I feel worse for those criticizing the dog because he was a pit bull and therefore more prone to be vicious. That's ridiculous, ALL dogs are prone to be vicious, many for no reason at all.

If I had a penny for every time a dog owner screamed 'he doesn't bite' while the dog is actively growling, and barking at passersby, I would have enough money to hire a dog trainer for these irresponsible owners.

I figure if your dog is badly trained enough to jump up on someone' face with enough force to cause those scratches (doubtful) that you should STILL be liable.

No dogs are dangerous. They are only ever brought up the wrong way by bad owners. I have seen people turn biting, snarling dangerous dogs into loving family dogs. They treat them and teach them. They should never ever be put down

Tell that to the Dogmen who breeded the APBT for generations. The men instrumental in the development of the breed would strongly disagree that it's all depending upon how a dog is raised. Breeding for specific traits and temperament cannot be discounted.

As much as children will tell the truth, I feel it's inappropriate and dangerous to put children in this situation. Who knows what home environment they are going back to. And this is for all and any legal show or court room where adults are the focus.

I disagree with the guy and feel sorry for the lady but never try to pet someones animal! You may think the animal is cute but you never know how they may react I mean.. They are animals. Hopefully she won't try to pet another animal that isn't hers but Im glad she's doing well. Don't comment any bs I can think however I want.. I love animals specifically dogs but I don't pet them. The owner I'd sad though no shots or anything smh I have 4 pits and they are friendly because we train them correctly and we keep them updated on anything health wise.

If any dog is on a leash, don't pet it. On a leash can mean 'working mode' to a dog.

In the first case the man is extremely irresponsible. If you are going to have a dog make sure you understand the responsibilities of having a dog. One of those responsibilities is making sure that your dog won’t injure people. This man really seems like he just doesn’t care. That dog paid the ultimate price for that mans stupidity and neglect. And this poor woman almost lost her eye Bc of this mans stupidity and neglect. This woman should not have had to deal with the emotional toll and physical toll it took on her. This woman should not have had to go through the pain that mans neglect put her through. I hope that man never owns an animal again.
