I think the lady in the first case was mad because she lost her husband a year ago, she probably didn't want anything in her life to change and those bushes were apart of those memories.

The second case the defendant was not in any disagreement of the payment she just wanted to see the actual bill before making a payment which is the right way to do before dishing out any money. I think the judge was trying to rush that case cuz she wasn't even trying to hear the defendant. Which was a little unfair because the lady wasn't even rude she couldn't even finish saying what she was trying to say but hey it's Judge Faith courtroom and I do love and respect her.

Well in the case she mention to the lady she was going to have to pay way before she ruled it.. She was just hearing the story out and both sides.. But the other lady kept agreeing to pay so it was really no need to keep letting her talk... Thts all i think it was.

@kaylaj490
@kaylaj490 4 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, she ruled fairly, there was literally nothing of any relevance that lady could've added to her defense. 1. She admitted to being negligent by leaving the door open and her dog got out, therefore at that moment she is 100% at fault. 2. She said that she never disagreed to pay but wanted to see the bills herself because she thought that the bill amount was inaccurate, so Judge Faith let her physically see that the bills were legit. 3. She was not there to witness the accident, so everything she said was indeed speculation and assumptions based on her opinion... Easy ruling, case closed, no need to drag it out unnecessarily.

As a owner of a large dog that looks like a small dog bite. But since she admitted her dog escaped she has the burden of proof. She was trying to say the lady didn't get bit or her own dog bit her. The bite occurred regardless of which dog did it, that lady didn't close her door or gate and the dog got out. I watched a child get horribly bitten by a dog, I ran up and tried to hit the dog so it would stop biting the child. Dog owners need to be more responsible.

O wait he tried but you kept refusing. 2nd case: Verdict is WRONG 1) Faith, you cut off the defendant every time she tried to speak. 2) There is NO FUCKING WAY that was a Bullmastiff bite. Those bites are far worse even the minor ones by them. Her dog biting her I'd believe, look at it better. O wait you can't now & Judge this correct. I have been bitten by a dog before, a lab, minor compared to how bad those bites can be & it looked far worse than her bite. $1000 is HIGHLY EXAGGERATED. My bite was way lower than that.

Not true. My dog has the run of the house for the most part, except at night when she goes in her crate when I go to bed and is let out in the morning. I walk her on a leash 3-4 times a day... But if someone comes to my door, I always put her in her crate or closed in another room before opening the door.... It's not animal abuse, it's being a responsible pet owner. Dogs shouldn't just be allowed to run out and do whatever because their owner is lazy.

Oh common, you can't be serious, right? That man had no bad intentions at all when he cut down those bushes. He had been trimming them for so many years, and not one single time she made a complaint about it. He trimmed them and kept her yard clean at all times, even while he didn't have to do that at all. But all the sudden she made a big drama about it, even after he himself replaces those bushes (300 dollars) and several times apologized for the misunderstanding. She's suing him for 2000 dollars for emotional distress - DAFUK??? - and 500 dollars for new bushes (AGAIN), so in MY book either dementia has set in in her head or she needs money and saw an open opportunity (something tells me the daughter has something to do with that one).
