Judge Frank Caprio is battling cancer

Known for his empathy in the courtroom, 87-year-old retired Judge Frank Caprio, is now asking for some in return.
“I would ask each of you in your own way to please pray for me,” Caprio, the judge turned reality TV star, said in a video posted Wednesday morning announcing he has pancreatic cancer.

I am a 10 year survivor of a rare triple negative breast cancer originally given 1 year to live. I am 70 years old now and still working at our wonderful Cleveland Clinic. Chemo is tough but just like you never give up on your court defendants, keep your faith and keep "moving" if only to walk down your driveway and back. It made a difference for me, dear Judge. Do not give up. I have a friend who is a pastor, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His treatment was done at the University of Kentucky in Lexington Ky. Been a long battle, but he was deemed cancer free 2-3 weeks ago. Have watched you met out justice and foregivness, I believe some of us are tested by fire to see what we do. I watch your videos when I’m feeling low and, do you know what.. the thing that humbles me and makes me feel better, is watching you with the veterans of Vietnam and other campaigns. The good work you have done is nothing short of excellent, you are firm and fair. Dear Judge Caprio. I too pray for your recovery. Have been watching the show for a couple years now. It brought out the best in people due to your demeanor and compassion. Even the people that didn't get the best ruling walked away with a positive attitude. You were always firm, fair and compassionate to the people before you. The way you turned so many negatives into positives was great. The way you made your life experiences tie into the mix was great. Loved how much you made of the kids and brought them up to the bench and give their verdicts. Funny and precious moments. In closing , God Bless !

Judge Caprio, I love your attitude i told my daughter age 16 she found a HUGE lump on her neck, age 17 1 day after her 17th birthday she was DX'D with hodgkins lymphoma stage 2 a cancer , I told her this YOUR GOING TO KICK ( no disrespect to anyone with this part) told her she was going to KICK CANCERS ASS , she has now been cancer free 10 years and counting she's a beautiful 28 year old woman today, Sometimes REALLY bad things happen to good people. I will CONTINUE praying for the same thing for you , my mama lost her battle age 45 of brain cancer, and YOU can do this, keep your mindset as what it is . Your going to BEAT CANCER, ALSO ,(ps. caps i'm not yelling at you , promise) you have to continue to live life. so it's a good thing your getting out and about , I can't begin to imagine what it's like for you personally just know so many people are PRAYING for you. and I'm one of them. My step mom had pancreatic cancer and they removed her pancreas she lived a long time after that as an insulin dependent diabetic but 25 years of life after the surgery Praying for you!!!
