There are now 2 documented incidents. They can't ignore it anymore. Governor Beshear needs to remove him from office and instruct the KY State Police to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation. There might even be federal laws broken here. the Sheriff basically admitted, on camera, to using NCIC for a personal matter. That is a federal crime if he did, and easy to verify.

When a Sheriff, an elected official, is accused of wrongdoing, in most states, the state itself would normally do the investigation. This is because you can't fire a Sheriff. They are elected officials. The only thing the state can do (assuming there is not a criminal indictment) is to suspend the law license. In most states, the voters can recall an elected official with a special ballot initiative. If I were the people in this county, I would want him out tomorrow because he has likely already got them sued, and seems likely that he will do so again in the future unless he is removed.

@thystaff74216 күн бұрын
If you're allowed to be free in society all rights should be respected. If he really is a threat then disarming him of known weapons does not remove the threat. Those laws were only created to disarm the country, cause many men have lost heirlooms and their right to self defense based on false allegations.

Cops, love to call people they deal with sovereign citizens. The real sovereign citizens are law-enforcement, who very rarely, if ever deal with any consequences to their actions. Imagine if you went to the sheriffs house, threaten him said you would find a way to do it. Do you think you would’ve been able to go back to your house that day without going to jail like the sheriff did of course not. When rules and laws don’t apply to you you are indeed the sovereign citizen. Meanwhile us everyone in the public pays for them to act like this, and treat people in the public like this and Law enforcement wonders why people are losing trust in them.😂
