That DNA could be extremely important. I would NOT exclude it, if I were a judge with integrity. Ms. Read was with the victim that entire evening. If that DNA belongs to ANYone else, it should NOT be Overlooked or Dismissed, under ANY circumstances.

Hair DNA testing and results are very unreliable, that is approx 90% incorrect. Due to this it is rarely admitted as evidence.

Immagine if they do the entire trial excluding the DNA and then on appeal they say you have to redo the trial because there's new DNA evidence. I haven't been following this closely and don't know what the DNA is about, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to not postpone the trial if that's important evidence instead of possibly having to pay for a second trial.
