Kind of a sad case. You can see in his face he has no education, no future and no alternatives. They need to bring dress codes back. Turn away anyone not appropriately dressed. I’ve seen women dress in shorts and a bra. Men sweat pants hanging past their but, sandals, over sized t shirts. They don’t care about their appearance and especially don’t care in front of a judge who can change their life in one second.

Unless he comes straight from his arrest detention to his arraignment, it's difficult. But I agree, there should be a dress code established. Minimum business casual, or for me a decent button shirt. It can even be one of those shirts worn in Latin America, with pockets on the bottom like my late grandfather had.

If it at least means that a violation means criminal contempt charges, I don't mind. Plus the more contempt charges pile up, the sentences become I believe consecutive. But I agree with your scepticism. In Germany, where I'm from, such affidavits would likely be illegal.

12 suspended license charges is further proof that suspending someone's license is completely meaningless. Why not risk it? Might be inconvenient to have to show up in court but not as inconvenient as not driving. Why not take the chance? Clearly you will just get nothing over and over.

Honestly, a Judge like this saved my life. I was put into a Veterans Court where I kept messing up. They made me go to a PTSD program at the VA while there I was able to take care of some of my issues. Judge Goodsell of the Nassua County in Veterans Court, was not playing games. Sometimes you need that.

They always do. Even when no weed around. Those dogs sit down or alert for no reason too. Happened to me. Dog sat at my door and cop said it detected narcotics. They searched me and my car. No drugs. Never has been as I borrowed my elderly father's car while mine was in the shop. They are full of $hit. They will also say they smell alcohol and I don't drink at all 😂

These driving scoff laws and no insurance drivers seem to think it is a victimless crime. Get in an accident with one and see if you agree. They need to seriously make it more difficult to drive. It is a privilege. This coming from someone who voluntarily went to therapy for road rage. I'm fortunate I never got a dangerous driving or stunting charge and ruined my life.
