I have worked in drug treatment for over 10 years. Until a drug addict gets honest and admits that are powerless against drugs? They will continue to use. Her daughter needs to stop enabling her. Stop supplying her free room and board. Let her hit rock bottom. She has to suffer the perils of her addiction before she sees that it is a serious problem. $4,000 of her mom's money? How very sad that her mom passed knowing and feeling powerless in helping her daughter.
