From my own personal experience, teachers and staff are completely pointless when dealing with bullies. They go tell the bully that it's not okay to bully other children, turn their heads, and the bully does it harder and more often. Only thing that got rid of my bullies is kicking their ass. I get a meeting with the principal and my parents, tell the staff that they were worthless to the situation, get slapped with 3 days of either ISS or OSS, and on the day I come back the bully is looking the other way.

Also that boy looked like he was held back for 3 years. Most likely due to him being suspended from school for beating up little kids nit even half his size. Yeah, I was a little pissed off about that. Even though I'm on her side in this case, I don't think it was the right thing to say to the judge that he's what most consider a nerd. Even if not meant to be said in that way, it can be an offensive insult, as we know.

@@AdmiralColdhead Nah she just wanted him to understand how most people in his school view him. You know? So that he understand the son's situation. She said *what most* people would view him as. Not what he *is* , in an offensive way.

The sad thing about her defending her son's bad behavior is that he's going to bully her some day. Good on the other mother for taking this to court. Even if I could afford the bill, I'd still take it to court, so the bully and their parent learns to do better.

Yup I've seen it happen. The mother raised her son to be a goon and when family members tried to step in she cussed everyone down to mind their business and he got older and attacked her and she called all the men in her family crying. No one came to her rescue. Son ended up killing a good man a couple years after that.

There's a guy I grew up with who was a terrible twrrinle bully his mother would always defend him soo he though he owned the word, fast forward when he's older he starts rapping his mum(not saying she deserved or justifying his actions) she even had to leave our neighborhood and go build another house in a different hood because people in my hood chased them away
