So squatters who break into homes can stay for a half of year without paying rent, but business owners who pay rent don't get tha same treatment and time that tha criminals squatter do ? Does anyone know why ? I do :(

These vendors are being treated respectfully.....just like most squatters are at first. The parking lot can be closed up so that they get NO CUSTOMERS. Squatters, on the other hand, get dealt with by bleeding-heart pussified liberals, like you, that don't want to force them to leave property that they aren't paying for. What would YOU do if squatters or the vendors were at your place....not that you own a home or any property....?

Why they evicting some vendors? This place has been in the neighborhood for many, many years. This is like a second home to a lot of vendors there in Little Village.

Because it is being renovated, and rent will be raised (thanks to higher property taxes...thanks to mayor Beetlejuice Lightfoot, which most of these people voted for in the first place). You get what you voted for.

This IS good news. The vendors are moving. Good riddance. Soon, they will tear that down, and have apartments and condos, to gentrify that are...that will then become a center of drug dealing/distribution and gang crime.
