I get the impression that the judge, DA's and some of the defense lawyers are like old friends, almost family. Some of the interplay reminds me of the old TV show "Night Court". They must have been doing their respective jobs together for a long time.

Why is driving while drunk, which the person knowing that they were going to be drunk, get behind the wheel and go out and possibly kill someone, the way my great nephew was killed a misdemeanor? Why is it not attempted murder? 1 person every 39 minutes in the United States is murdered by drunk drivers. And it's a misdemeanor. Something has to change.

Send the miserable girl to under the prison!!! She has been given chance after chance and the laws and following the laws means nothing to her. 9 felony's and who knows how many misdemeanors. This is a perfect judge to show her what justice means. She shouldn't have any of her charges lessened or dismissed. Her charges are extremely serious including TRAFFICKING humans of young ages so she could make profits off of them and putting these young adults and teens in dangerous situations, risks that could lead to loss of life and all she thought about was herself and the money she could make from trafficking human beings. Straight up fowl and disgusting and disgraceful. I doubt she will learn her lessons and change her disgraceful actions and behaviors. But she deserves at least 35+ years minimum to life in prison. Also right when she gets to the big house( prison) they should put her in isolation for a month and let it all sink in to where's she's at and the choices and decision's she chose to make lead her exactly where she at. PRISON!!!!

In proper hands, such as those of a licensed medical professional, it's a powerful pain reliever. In the hands of addicts, it's a game of Russian Roulette. The only drug that's even more potentially dangerous is hydromorphone (dilaudid), a pain reliever that's usually only given to people with the highest levels of pain, as it's EIGHT TIMES more powerful than morphine.

I love this judge he is always a great judge and is fair and even lenient on some cases where I wouldn't of shown any mercy or grace. Our judges need to send defendants to prison especially if they are repeat offenders and or have been given probation/ parole before and failed. Most defendants have been given chance after chance begging and crying and pleading to the judge they will change and follow his orders and they are arrested and brought right back in front of the judge that saw him or her before the last arrest.

Conflict of interest forbids a lawyer or law office from representing (or having represented) more than one defendant in a case. I think if you re-watch, most of the attys are not private. And 2 of those participating are interns in both the PD office and the Prosecutor office---neither is making bank. If you listen more closely, some of the actions are needed to proceed. This is called a process. There are only so many hours in a day for the different lawyers to meet one another; let along meet the client, check on pending SA results, status of cases from other counties, or PSR. If you noticed, these were not trials. Which take up a ton of time as well. That is why pleadings are the bulk of these kinds of cases--as in 75% or more.
