A judge had some harsh words for a former sheriff, who is accused of breaking the law. Former Clark County, Indiana Sheriff, Jamey Noel, is awaiting trial on 25 felony charges. He has pled not guilty. As part of the case, Noel was ordered to surrender all his weapons, except for one shotgun, but during a search of his home, the judge says other firearms were found. The judge says Noel was in contempt of court and ordered him ot serve 60 days in jail before the trial even begins. Inside Edition Digital has more.

as an AP English student you should know an argument appealing to ethos only matters if it correlates whatsoever... Took food from food banks, food pantries and donations to feed the prisoners. So in addition to taking state funds to pay for personal things, he also took food out of the mouths of the needy, the reason for the food banks in the first place. He gets 60 days for only the contempt charge. The video says the judge ordered him to turn over all of his guns before the trial even started and because he failed to do that, the judge punished him with 60 days in jail. His trial for the 25 felony charges he's facing hasn't even started yet, but now he has to wait in jail for it to start instead of at home on bail or bond.

The 60 days was only for contempt. His trial for all of the felonies hasn't happened yet. And, in my opinion, 60 days for a contempt charge is a pretty good ruling considering most judges only give a few days for contempt.
