At a certain point in life, you should have enough self-awareness to know whether you can live with other people or need to live alone. If you can't afford to live alone, you need to learn how to peacefully cohabit with others.

Maybe, however the defendant was the instigator and in the wrong. Plaintiff rented the room, once her rent was paid the defendant had absolutely no right to go in her room without her permission. And no right to lock her out. Her letter may have stretched the truth, but any police officer would tell her if her rent is paid she had no right to lock her out.

"I'm going to send you to the jail." --- If I am not mistaken, the "j" in Spanish is a bit aspirated/breathy, like an "h" sound. For example, the word "boss" is "jefe" which sounds like, "heff-a." When she says, "jail," it has that aspiration sound at the beginning and then she pronounces the rest of the word in a way that follows her native language's rules. --- That's my explanation of it but hopefully someone more knowledgeable with confirm it. ☺️

She rented the room to her furnished with the lamp for light. 1st, she cant go take it. 2nd she cant enter the renters room. 3rd she cant ask for extra money beyond the agreement after the tenant has moved in. 4th, the renter paid her month so she couldnt rip her keys off of her neck. She had to get a legal eviction order which couldnt take place until her paid month was up. That "landlord" which i use the term loosely, barely speaks English so she doesnt even know the laws.

Maybe I’m wrong but I was under the impression that, if you’re up to date with your rent, the landlord doesn’t have the right to enter your ‘paid for’ home/room unless asked or invited. She may have knocked on the door but that doesn’t mean come in and do whatever you want. Surely taking property from a rented space, especially by force, isn’t right. I mean there wasn’t any suggestion that she was delinquent in her rent after December so I’m questioning the LL’s actions here.
