It's very telling that when questioned(after the video), the Defendant said she had photos of the "living conditions", not "how it was left". And, she changed her story about there being trash and needing to pay for it to be cleaned. All of a sudden, after the video, there was "no trash" left behind. I saw the photos and thought the Plaintiff was in for it. Good thing she had the video. It's crazy how some people can lie so easily and change their story when evidence is later produced.

I am not familiar with rental laws in the USA, but in New Zealand, it is illegal for a landlord to retain the security deposit, which is called the "bond." The landlord is a liar. She was going in that room without warning and taking close up pictures of specific messes then lied about it being nasty when she moved out to keep her money. JJ shouldn't have awarded her anything because the pictures are of a clean space and she exaggerated until the video was shown. She even tried to lie and say it was the move in video not knowing that videos are date/time stamped. She probably goes into every tenants room when they're not home looking through their things and looking for excuses to keep their money.

I agree anywhere besides kitchen or dining room is just nasty that's what they are for

It’s more than a room; she had use of kitchen, Livingroom, presumably laundry facilities. Tenant agreed to it, it was probably a very nice home & location.

Judge Judy is so quick to take the landlord side. It’s unbelievable. Sometimes you can have a bad landlord. She needs to hear both parties first.

Soooooo expensive $1000 FOR A ROOM.......😮

Defendant gives me Karen vibes. She probably treats her tenants like children. If you don't want people who live different lifestyles, then don't rent rooms out in your home.

No. People need to follow the rules of the house. When you rent a hotel room do you just trash it if you feel like it? No! Unless you want to pay to clean up the damage you caused.

I have seen JJ so many times in the past not compensating landlords if they do not have a bill and did the work themselves. She is very inconsistent.

My issue is I used to rent out of room and I only paid $750 a month. Why are they paying $1000 a month for a room?
@hottew_twat39633 ай бұрын
did it have its own bathroom ? and everything included we don't know the amenities that came with that 1000 or your 750

@@paulajay473 Yes, they are extremely proud that they raised a daughter who is not lazy, dirty, without self discipline and accountability. So, they are over the moon to have a daughter like myself. I am sure your parents would not say the same.

1) Why do both the plaintiff and the defendant have small microphones on their shirts, and yet there are microphones on the tables? 2) What is up with that guy behind the plaintiff with the suspenders and slouching?
