People do that all the time on this show. I even witness it a lot in my own personal life. There are a lot of people in this world that have a problem with doing something because “someone told them to”. It’s ridiculous. And if people just adopted the mentality that, just because someone is telling you to do something, it doesn’t mean you’ve lost control or that they’re the boss of you. You’re delusional, you were never in control or the boss of anyone or anything ever. Just yourself. So people just go through that viscous cycle their whole lives. I’m 26, I learned that the tough way. But I’m glad I did!

Everyone here sucks, IMO. The Defendant was confronted with being a slob by her own roommates, and her reaction was to not only dismissively walk away, but also throw out insults, and then gets physically violent...to the point where the police were called and she was arrested - AND plead guilty. Add on top that she was smirking and laughing during this whole hearing. The Plaintiffs used poor wording in their complaint, and then tried to be sneaky with trying to charge her for 5months of rent, even though she was not able to live in the apartment anymore. So, yea...everyone here sucks. Including the Defendants mom...who not only took it upon herself to talk whenever she wanted to (even over JJ), but she also remained seated while doing so. Its CRYSTAL clear where the Defendant gets her attitude from.

Actually, I've seen this whole thing back in college. The "group think" was a perfect analogy, but in reality they formed up as a faction simply because they didn't like her. They probably had someone else lined up for the spot, but that never came out. Too bad it didn't. Since there was no qualified adult moderating their so called "intervention" bad things CAN happen. Someone is usually a slob or careless. Doesn't matter who you get, you eventually find out anyway. Living with people is always difficult. Since it appears they were off campus, the three snobbish girls thought who they were. Instantly, from the get go their case fell apart. They got what they deserved, nothing. The defendant laughed at the end. It was a frivolous case having been filed, the Plaintiffs themselves couldn't even follow it. I wish I could have sued my college back in the day. I probably would have won Big.

Girls do this a lot. It's funny because you so often see young men being depicted as bullies in tv shows and movies, but my experience is that women, especially younger women, organize into small cliques and engage in social destruction of people they don't like to a far greater extent than men do.

I cringe too however many ppl do in fact accept a plea deal to avoid substantial jail time or lawyers fees. The justice system may say you're entitled to a trial but they will certainly punish you doubly if you lose. The courts prefer a plea deal not justice.

@@Neverendingstory78 yes but you can’t plead guilty then say you’re innocent. If you want to maintain innocence you need to fight for it. Part of accepting that plea deal when innocent is accepting that you’re going to be treated as guilty. So if you can’t handle that don’t do it. It sucks that it’s so expensive and time consuming for people to fight for their innocence, and that overworked public defenders will push for a plea to move on to another case in their workload. But that’s how it is. Don’t expect to be seen as innocent when you say you did it in court.

I agree with you. The one girl seems like a terrible nightmare of a roommate, leaving her shit all over the place and it was even mentioned in the beginning of the episode leaving the stove on and forgetting to turn it off. Would Piss me off too. They have every right to stage an "intervention" or in other words just a chat about rules of the house without the need to be professional interventionists as JJ alluded to. The girl is clearly a spoiled brat with no regard for consequences of her actions which is why when asked to show basic human decency and respect for others around her she responded by assaulting one of the girls. Doesn't really sound like bullying to me. Everyone on here making the assumption that these 3 girls "bullied her for months" and drove her to act this way are just assuming and that's all

They thought they could bully her by ganging up on her THAT is why she cursed them, then when she cursed them they tried to intimidate her further to the point of igniting her rage! They got what they deserved... Then when they couldn't find someone to replace her they tried to charge her for rent AFTER THEY are the ones who had her removed??! Did you listen to what happened here? NO way they were nice to her or treated her with respect, but tried to intimidate respect from her... They are the bullies idc how u try to put it... Suspect those three girls are so used to getting their own way they thought they could just swan in to the court room and "like... y'know... I'm soooooo going to get what I want". They were so scripted, too, which I reckon Judge Judy would also have seen but chose to just treat those scrags with the disdain they deserved. That was fantastic when she yelled at them, too, as the poor dears probably weren't used to being spoken to like that either.
