Sometimes things get custom made and it is not paid till the work is done, in this case it was done, and the defendant claims the tank was defective. Thus the plaintiff is suing for money not paid of the work done.

A small business has different thresholds for qualifying per sector (for some it's like a million in revenue and 1k employees), so that's maybe what he's basing that on. But yeah, I also think of Mom and pop businesses when I think of small businesses.

The one case, the plaintiff sued for being hit by the defendant in their cars. The defendant was going straight, the plaintiff was turning left coming the opposite way, the defendant had a green light, the plaintiff didn't have an arrow so he has to wait to turn, but he didn't wait and got t boned. She said well you hit the defendant, you hit him, you're wrong. Well no, the plaintiff thought he could beat him by turning fast. Everyone, the insurance companies for both parties, the other judges, the police all said the defendant was in the right. So yes its little things like that. She's making mistakes because she not seeing things clearly

I feel sorry for the plaintiff who still has fresh bus tire tracks across his back. 😂 I have had bosses make me go to stuff saying they were “busy” when really they didn’t want to deal with it. This despite I knew nothing about it because it had nothing to do with me. I even had to give an apology for something a coworker did wrong but I had to listen to the person rant. I was so pissed off. They probably made him go so the show will pay the verdict.

Small companies yikes. I bought an E-bike rode it a couple times, the brakes gave out, and then gears were not changing. Its a 7 speed has a mechanism called a derailleur the chain runs through, and switched the gears on the cassette off 7 gears on the back wheel, it has three adjustments, high, low, and a barrel adjuster where the cable attaches to the derailleur for indexing (fine tuning). The barrel adjuster was frozen solid. Talk to sale's, who put me off to someone else's VM, who gets back to me after countless emails and left messages about two weeks later, then says they have to hand it off to someone else for warranty parts, asks for pictures and descriptions, which I send. Another two weeks of messages, the n he finally sends me another email asking me to confirm what parts I need BEFORE he will send it off to warranty parts.
