This is what judges do when they are pissed... Happened to Donald Trump when he essentially grifted a contract with a supplier once and wanted $3 Million in damages through a lawsuit.... The judge was so ticked with him that he awarded Trump $3 and his lawyers said we need a higher amount so the Judge said okay I'll triple the amount....
