I don't think she was entirely wrong. She said she works at the bar just not that night. The bar owner asked her to help her close by getting people out. Because the defendant was familiar with her, instead of listening she started calling her a name. She took her glass and told her to get out (probably with lots of attitude). The defendant hits her and they started fighting. Security usually toss people out of bars. So, I agree with judge mathis that it was mutual combat.

I didn’t agree with the judge on this case as far as the comments he made towards the defendant at the end. Also the plaintiff wasn’t working at the time I thought when she told the defendant last call. They were at a different bar so I feel she was starting ish. The plaintiff obviously doesn’t like the defendant and whenever she sees her I’m sure she has something to always say. I guess it doesn’t matter how old a person gets some never grow out of that bullying mess. Defendant called her a B which I’m sure the plaintiff had been waiting and picking on purpose so she could eventually put hands on her.

No it's not cuz this was about the second fight that had nothing to do with the plaintiff. The defendant was trying to flee the scene of an altercation where she got jump by 20 people due to her wanting to fight the bartender and called her sister to help. JM even asked the defendant if the plaintiff was involved in the fighting and she said no. That's why the plaintiff won her case. It wasn't about the fight she had with the defendant that the plaintiff mentioned at the beginning of the case.

Ok guys.. the lawsuit was about a second altercation the defendant had with a bartender not with the plaintiff. Everyone seems to be stuck on the 1st scenario which the plaintiff was wrong BUT the defendant hit the plaintiff's car while trying to escape on the fight she instigated with her sister not knowing the other people at the bar would jump in to help the bartender. JM even asked the defendant if the plantiff was involved in the fight and she said no otherwise I'm pretty sure JM would have dismissed the case.
