I'm very glad the judge ordered the defendant custody of his daughter. I know there are a lot of men out there that absolutely love their children, but like Judge Mathis said, a lot of single men don't do what the defendant did. If it's true what the defendant said at the end, and the plaintiff is a good grandmother, I think they should squash any animosity and allow visitation. Especially for the siblings. I don't how this grandmother could blame the defendant for the other children's health problems. She was completely wrong for saying that. Plus I do believe she lied in court. As long as the children are happy seeing eachother and it's approved by the defendant and under his terms, I really hope they can squash this and move forward.

This lady basically wanted to raise ALL of her grandbabies and dude wasn't having it. It's not his responsibility to make sure all of the siblings (by different men) are raised together. That would have been the mom's responsibility to make sure she had all of her kids by the same man. We've been so conditioned to think that when mom acts up that the grandparents, grandmas especially, are the ones to come in and raise the kids but there are plenty of fathers out there who want to raise their own kids and ironically aren't given the chance to do so sometimes until something like this happens where the mom wants no parts in raising them. The sad thing here is had the mom wanted custody of the kids, drugged out or not, the brotha here would probably still be fighting for custody and probably wouldn't get it.

But what I do stand by is that the other two kids wasn't his responsibility and he did try to make it work for the benefit of the kids so you've really lost me now. Because he did try. Were we watching the same case? He did try to do exactly what you're saying here but grandma was tripping which is my point. If she wants the sibling unit to stay together, she needs to stay on good terms with this man and learn to respect his autonomy as the child's father and primary caretaker. And cut out the "Oh you didn't do exactly as I demanded! Now the kids have abscesses and it's YOUR FAULT!" - it's ridiculous, considering the background.
