@@Rekowcski I always have my main sim be “hired on” to redecorate the Vanderburg mansion, but she makes it so lavish during a time of a recession (in my head) which makes the “subjects” of Hidden Springs so angry they run the royal family out of town and the house becomes a museum. Similar to Marie Antoinette xD my main sim gets off scot free, though - she was just in over her head…and becomes a celebrity of sorts. The EA version of the Vanderburg mansion is absolutely tragic when you first boot up the town.

@TheMya1988 Жыл бұрын
Yes, and I have resided at many homes containing them (even the toilet and sinks), about as common as that piss yellow too. Most of the homes were built in the 1950's-1970's. Green stoves and fridges were common in those homes too, or yellows and spiced brown too, so I think the developers either got inspired by homes they lived in, or researched homes built in that time frame. I grew up on the east coast of the US, but have lived in every time zone (have moved around quite a bit). So, I have definitely experienced seeing all the baby poo poo colors all over.

I like Harmony House, it's kind of bold with colors, but refers to Rastafarianism. It has very earthy vibes too. The dining table with four chairs looks like a good place to enjoy pot with folks. It kind of resemble times, cause this movement was really popular during mid 2010's. And except for awful mainstream reggaeton songs which was haunting me down for years, this style is not offensive or overhelming, at least not in that house.

your reviews are funny and I have notice how much you referred to certain colors, as it does not know what it wants to be lol... crack me up, its probably a color wheel syndrome, when you cant find the exact good swatch because you keep going over it, but stop in a two much green, red or blue gradiant... I did not liked the color wheel, I much prefer good swatches, with levels for opacity etc... its much easier to tune what you want than blindly going into a circle of colors... I love the make up options in the sims 4 for that reason, easy to fine tune... I hope BB in the sims 5 would be a combination of the sims 2, sims 3 and sims 4. Each game brough something good, sims 2 was the ability to choose separately the swatches on objects, like the counter top vs counter frame etc... sims 3 was I guess the color wheel? dont let me started with the patterns because it did not go well on certain thing, for instance how the wood grain would stick to objects, etc..., the sims 4, for the good colors swatches, the load of colors swatches and textures of objects, obviously base game was rough, but they improved a lot and it is much better than any texture/pattern/base swatches than the sims 3 could afford giving us... combine these things together and you are in for a treat... although I hope the color wheel will be more like the make up for the sims 4, with levels and colors bases options, rather than the obnoxiously hard to use circle of death.
